I am also a city girl with a country girl’s heart. Stories from my dad who lived the life for many years. My sister is also a country girl, she was raised by my dad. But inside, I am a farming, canning, gardening, country living type of gal. Just need to convince my city hubby. He enjoys the magazine as well. A subscription would be wonderful. I recently stumbled across three issues of your magazine this weekend and LOVED them! I couldn’t put them down! There are so many fabulous articles and pictures. It also made me quite reminiscent because I went to college in Pullman and spent a lot of time in Moscow and the Palouse and loved every moment.

I love MaryJanes Farm Magazine & everything it represents! I had a subscription for years but cannot afford it now. I do get the magazine from our library but have to special request it from the library system because we do not have a subscription in our local branch. It’s really MaryJane time here at Roseberry Farms in Gooding County. Weeds are exploding all over our 97 acres, the crazy weather is making gardening a challenge (what else is new?), the old deck chairs are in need of scraping, priming & painting, quilts to be made for twin graduating niece & nephew, a plethora rhubarb to cook, freeze, give away, etc. The geese on our wetland have hatched their young & little snakes are slithering all around our yard. What a wild, wonderful place we live in!
One of the few magazines I still purchase! I love looking through it over and over again! If you visited my home, you would also see it is the only magazine I ever keep! I have archives of it! Thank you for sharing all the good things you know, find, and make with us!

We’re subscribers, let all the others lapse this year except this one. I used to be a farm girl in Kansas, many years ago. Spent some years in Wyo and reading the ranch farmgirl stirs up memories and makes me homesick. We enjoy the whole magazine, the ways to create a more healthy safe environment in our home and the recipes. MJF lets me return to those roots that matter! ijs
I heard about your magazine on FB after I looked you up because I already had purchased your book: “Mary Jane’s Outpost Unleashing Your Inner Wild” and loved it so much.
I am already a reader, but I don’t subscribe. I usually pick up my copy when I buy dog food at my local supply store. I love your magazine. I am a born country girl living in town right now. I do my best to teach my daughter the things I learned about country life and its values. Her education began early. I actually have a photo of myself reading your magazine while I was in labor!
I’m a farm girl too! A Northern one. We just had snow a couple of days ago, no tomatoes or peppers go in the ground up here until at least the end of the 1st week in june!
I have browsed through your magazine at the store and always thought it was interesting and had a variety of things in it . I am not a farmgirl but wish I was.I am a craft girl of many things and I also like to cook and grow things. A subscription would be a nice thing.

Hi there Mary Jane … you may be my long lost sister. Just too many things in common. As a child my father bragged about being organic, when organic wasn’t cool. As for me back then, I just picked weeds, weeds and more weeds. Anywhoo, love your store, love your stuff, love glamping the the Great Northwest. Have enjoyed MaryJanes Farm from day one. Full of so many wonderful things from recipes to gardening ideas and soooo much more. The pictures are gorgeous and I have never seen any content that I didn’t love!
I think out of all the magazines I have looked at, this is the one I take time to read. The fact that it is printed on recycled paper, you are given the opportunity to help pick a cover and you can make your life simpler all wrapped up in one informative place, why wouldn’t you want to have a subscription? 😉
It is amazing how a magazine can change one’s life…I come from Spain, and until I arrived to this country, I had never thought of farming or living in Nature…or making my own recipes! And then, one day, while browsing in the magazine section of a bookstore, I found MaryJanesFarm…Aahhh…Wonderful! I could not put it down, and ended up buying it every month. Going to the bookstore every month became a delight, a routine that I treasured. I then would go back home, made myself a cup of tea, turned off my cell phone and…enjoyed. The magazine has helped me endure difficult moments in my life; because of the magazine, I know myself better. MaryJaneFarm opened new possibilities for me, things I never thought I loved…and longed for.

I was given a copy of this magazine by a friend and fell in love with it! For my birthday this year, I received a year subscription from my 2 year old,Emme and my 6 year old, Aubrey… With a little help from Daddy, of course. I had been a long time subscriber to Country Living and enjoyed perusing the pages but didn’t really “connect” with it. Mary Jane’s Farm gave me a sense if connection immediately. I have subscribed to Mary Jane’s since the very first. I love the quality of the magazine and that she takes us back to be sustainable living for ourselves. I’ve bought many of your magazines. Just love them. I love the recipes, and especially the sewing patterns. The new ideas for upcycling, I would of never dreamed up. The first time I opened up a MJFarm magazine, I felt like that line of John Denver’s in his song “Rocky Mountain High”. The part about coming home to a place he’d never been before. I have been receiving this treasure for a few years now. Love, love, love it. The very first time I looked through the magazine it made me feel home sick and it still does. I can pick up an older issue and it feels new. I loan out my magazines but like a library with a return date:).
