  1. Karen R says:

Found your magazine at a house that a group of girls (women over 50) rented at the Outer Banks. Really enjoyed all the articles.

  2. Chantal W says:

I LOVE MaryJanesFarm magazine. Not only are their tons of little helpful tips and creative ideas, it brings me inspiration for our own little homestead. I’d be so grateful to win a subscription!

    Mucho love!

  3. Sonja says:

I received my first year as a gift subscription from my flea market friend. I didn’t renew after I moved but keep meaning to, especially since I recently bought my first house with a big backyard. I love the variety of articles and real life writing. Keep up the good work!

  4. Shuna Talbot says:

My girlfriend gave me your magazine to see. Her sister in law gave it to her. I had never even heard of it. Loved it! Not sure if it is available here in Canada either. Oh…never gave her back the mag. 😉

  5. Jan Culton says:

There was just something about MaryJanesFarm that tugged at me from the first time I picked it up off a neighbor’s coffee-table trunk. I am a rural pastor’s wife, living in a parsonage that doesn’t belong to me, so I am somewhat limited in what I can do, gardening or improvement-wise. But….we bought a little fixer-upper on a half acre where we plan to retire, and I am saving every magazine toward the day when I can go hog-wild and let my inner farm girl out for good….MaryJanesFarm’s pages are full of dreams, imagination, and plans; not to mention practical ideas and how-to’s. It’s my only magazine subscription, and I use what I can and save the rest for the future.
And by the way, your roasted vegetable recipe is now a family favorite!

  6. jaylyn morehouse says:

I NEED to start reading your magazine!!! I love all things that have to do with homesteading. Would love to win a subscription!

  7. Amberlynn Lane says:

I love the food, the crafts, the ideas, the photos, and the people at the farm.

  8. Elizabeth says:

I LOVE MJF! From its thick, color-saturated pages, to it’s stories and ideas for leading a simple, cleaner life, it’s my little bit of zen in the midst of chaos. I take away something positive and uplifting with each issue, and I simply don’t know what I would do without it:)

  9. Wendy Jordan says:

I love Mary Jane Farm!!! It has inspired me in so many ways and brought out the Farmer out of this City girl!!! Thank you for a fabulous magazine!!!

  10. Kim Gates says:

I love the interesting crafts! I’ve enjoyed making a few (some came out better than others). I’m a Girl Scout leader for 1 more year, and then I’m going to work on earning my own badges!

  11. Sadie says:

I love the vintage nostalgia and the recipes!!

  12. Jane Major says:

I have been a subscriber for quite some time and I love your magazine. I used to live on the Camas Prairie and I miss home more than ever, but I get my magazine and it takes me back home for a little while!!! And that makes me a happy farm girl!!! I also get your emails, your Facebook posts and I am a sister!!! Keep up the wonderful work!

  17. Vickie Nuinnemaker says:

I found your magazine by accident at the local feed store, and am now a subscriber – even my husband enjoys reading MJF! I love the variety: sustainability/recycling, cast iron, how-to’s, recipes, and musings. I grew up on a farm and can relate to many of the articles. Thank your for keeping your readers informed and amused!

  18. Becky McKinzie says:

Your unique magazine is a breath of fresh air. I live in the same farming community where I grew up, and many of my friends have accused me of being a “Tree Hugger”. I like to grow my own food organically, and I can and freeze as much as possible for winter. Let’s not forget your crafts, and up cycling ideas, too. They have provided me with many an inspiration! Love the magazine.

  19. Susan Waite says:

Was a subscriber, but do to economy, cutbacks amd such, I cancelled sometime ago. I still follow you on FB and love all the info !

  23. Lora Rosencrans says:

I love the magazine – I receive the online version. It’s always fun to look and see if any of my posts made it in! I also love reading about what all the farmgirls are doing. The magazine is always full of great ideas, help tips and beautiful photos.

  24. Kelly Lynn Vega says:

Oh, how I would love a subscription!! I received a complimentary copy a while ago. I look at it over and over. Money is tight so I haven’t been able to subscribe. But it’s on my wish list!

  25. Nancy Coppock says:

LOVE your magazine – hooked from day one! Moving from CA to TN, we had visions on living on 5 acres with lots of garden space. That dream ended up on 3/4 of an acre (more than 2/3’s than back home). This year we finally planted berries – is that jam and cobbler I smell coming from the kitchen? Mary Jane’s magazine has been an invaluable source for me through the almost 8 yrs. we have lived here. I even make my own soap now and make my pumpkin pies using real pumpkins – no more of the canned stuff for us :-).
Though our house is in a subdivision, we bought it because it was advertised as a “farmhouse” SOLD.

  26. Amanda Boyce says:

I’m a farm girl from the beginning and though sometimes I stray into other projects, nothing makes me smile like crowing roosters and digging in the soil. I love to read Mary Janes because I feel like all you ladies there are long lost sisters and we are sharing recipes, and farming wisdom!

  27. Sandy Erdman says:

I have a friend that introduced me to this magazine and I just couldn’t find a copy of my own so I went on to Etsy and I found some back issues and the article I was looking for was the column done on the gals from the Gooseberry Patch. I got it and so I started my subscription to MJF magazine. I am an apron designer and make several aprons and quilts as well and the articles have been a great inspiration. I have shared the magazine with others at my apron workshops and more. The ads are great as well since I have bought several yards of fabric and other items from the ads. Keep them coming and I like to have the magazine in hand and not online copies. Thanks again. Sandy

  28. Amber Kiffney says:

I’m a reader . . . I’m a farm girl at heart, living in the suburbs. I love figuring out ways to make my little half-acre more like a mini-farm and I enjoy getting ideas from MJF magazine!

  29. Stephanie says:

Your magazine is beautiful and inspiring and full of useful information. When I stumbled upon it in the magazine aisle it was as if I had run into a long lost friend. Thank you.

  30. Tammy Whitney says:

I love Mary Jane’s Farm because I get so many great ideas and it’s just so beautifully done. It’s like a little retreat every time I open an issue!

  31. Dina Strawn says:

  32. Jill May says:

I am a long time subscriber, and I look forward to every issue! I love the gardening ideas and my I truly enjoy the stories other readers send in. Thank you for all of the inspiration you give this Farmgirl of 2 country acres here in SW Ohio!!!

  33. Claudia Konkus says:

I am not a subscriber but buy my magazine in the store. That means that I am not a regular reader but would love to be. Your magazine is like a great camomile tea: it calms my frazzled nerves by taking me back to my childhood. Many of your articles remind me of my grandmothers farm and the simpler life that came along with it. I find great ideas and articles and can escape for a few hours. So, I truly wouldn’t mind a regular delivery of my ‘cup of tea’ in my mailbox. 🙂

  34. Kelly Larsen says:

I first came across your wonderful magazine at REI in Spokane one weekend when the first issue came out and there was a table set up handing out copies…..I snatched it up and have never looked back. I LOVE your magazine! It is a luxury that I look forward to each month. I love that there are so many useful arts that seem to have been long ago lost in our world. I would not have been reintroduced to them if it weren’t for this magazine….Hip Hip Hooray!!!

  35. Laurice Cox says:

I LOVE Mary Jane! I would love to win a subscription! Consider me entered!

  36. Erin Campbell says:

I have been a fan for years and enjoy glamping, gardening, junkin’ and raising my 36 chickens and 5 geese…I pick up your magazine frequently and love knowing its ideas are from my own part of the country…Keep up the amazing article…Thanks!

  37. Denise M Prudente says:

I bought my mom and sister in law subscriptions to your magazine…They love it! My mom gives me the magazines to read when she is done. I really liked that your magazine was different than most. The pictures tell a story and make you feel as if you have stepped out of your reality and into a world of Glam! I get many creative ideas from the magazine – I cut up many photos and articles! I look forward to having my mom read FAST!

  38. Lindsay Crowson says:

I love Mary Jane’s Farm! My favorite things are the recipe ideas and I especially love reading the essays from fellow readers! The pictures always make me happy and I find myself repeatedly looking back at old issues. It’s the only magazine I do that with these days.

  39. I found your magazine at my local quilt shop. Love it!

  40. I am a country girl at heart sadly living in the City. Your magazine gives me the farm fix I need. Occasionally I buy it off the newsstand as a special treat for myself. I can’t tell you how much I love it!

  41. Amanda Pillion says:

I love your magazine! It lifts my spirits to find one of your magazines in the mail box. I love all the inspiration and the great DIY ideas. I dream of having my own farm one day. Thanks for bringing out the farm girl in me.

  42. Marcy Brown says:

I absolutely LOVE this magazine! I used to subscribe to others, but I just didn’t have any interest in reading them. I read MJF cover to cover and am always wishing for more. I love the feeling I get reading Mary Jane’s Farm, nostalgia is a big thing for me, and although I’m not physically able to do many of the things in the magazine, I can remember my grandmother and how she lived and I can imagine her doing many of these very things. MJF is an historical archive in a way, preserving the past with a touch of the modern element that is necessary in our modern times. MJF shows all the creative beauty of womanhood and I am ever thankful for that. We don’t HAVE to be in the work force to make a difference in this world, or to make the world a better, more beautiful place. We can do it everyday with traditional home arts and get some therapeutic relaxation and a feeling of achievement. I just received my new edition and am always awaiting my next.
Thank you, Mary Jane, for such a wonderful magazine!

  43. jimmie williams says:

  46. Catherine Melin says:

  47. Peggy P. says:

I was introduced to your “awesome” magazine at the local Tractor Supply store. I was immediately hooked from page 1! I love all the valuable information, recipes, the photos, just everything you have in each copy. When I arrive home, I just sit down and read the magazine from cover to cover, although food is cooking and usually burns in the stove!! LOL I don’t throw away the issues either, I like to pass them on to my friends and family members. Always, looking forward to the next copy you publish. Keep up the good work!!!

  49. Erika Taylor says:

I am a city chick. I have a veggie garden amd chickens. I read your facebook but Im not familiar with the magazine. Id love to read it though.

  50. Lisa Sabo says:

I’m new to your magazine, my sister in law subscribes & has been passing them along to me. I was born an raised a country girl but thought always thought I belonged in the city. After college I did just that and realized then just how much I loved living in the country and missed it until we moved back home to my husband’s family’s farm. Now raising our own family I’m learning and becoming passionate about homesteading, self sufficiency, and eating locally grown food. I love your magazine & I learn so much from it, I would love to win a subscription for a year & a lifetime would be amazing!
