  1. Sharyn Stoff says:

    I’m a little bit country!
I’m a little bit city! However, I Love…Love…Love MaryJanes Farm. Everything that interests me or is of an importance to me is covered in this magazine.

Great job and I recommend your magazine to all my friends.

  2. cathy says:

I would feel very blessed to win a subscription. About 2 months ago I was put down to part time, and I’ve been learning to do without many things. And I love the magazine !!!!

  3. Courtney says:

My mom and I pick up your mag whenever we see it! Love love love it! It is so inspiring, I think we all need to take a step back from our fast paced lives-no matter if we are city mice or country mice. The simple things are the things that matter and I plan to raise my children knowing the same. Thank you for your mag!

  4. Kathie Hagen says:

I love MaryJane’s Farm magazine because it makes me feel comfortable. There are “home and garden” magazines that actually make me feel anxious (you know the one I mean). When I’m reading MJF I feel like I’m at home, cozy, able-bodied, competent, hopeful, skilled, adventurous and capable. I get excited when I read a new issue because I know I’m going to learn something I’ve always wanted to try, and I’m going to feel like I’ve bloomed instead of feeling like I’ve been wrenched away from my comfort zone. That’s love, isn’t it?

  5. Michelle says:

“Sewing your own bloomers” on the cover of Mary Jane’s magazine caught my eye one day in the bookstore, and I just love it! I also picked up the Lifebook, which is amazing. The bookstore is gone now, but I still pick up a copy whenever I can find it!

  6. Susan Douglas says:

Just became a devotee to all things Mary Jane’s Farm in the past couple of months. My Mom grew up as the youngest of 10 in a family with greenhouses & berry bushes. She always told me stories about being “put to work” as a kid in the 40’s & 50’s; but that it didn’t seem like work to them. They were poor on cash, but rich on love, fresh air, & fresh healthy food. Even living in suburbia she always grew a veggie garden with me & we specialized in strawberries! My Mom taught me independence & always told me life was limitless, that I could do anything. She’s been gone these past 7 years, & as I read my first issue of Mary Jane’s Farm I found myself wishing I could show her the different articles & pics. She would have loved this & I’m glad I found you folks.

  7. Cheri Blumenthal says:

Actually, found your mag. in the E.R. of our local hospital. I had one subscription, but unfortunately finances have gotten tight and I now share with my kids out of state. Love the great food and crafts. Love the pics and art.

  8. DeAnna Machado says:

I would love a years subscription to your magazine. I recently added you on Facebook and love what I see on my feed. Please pick me as I need a nudge to get me country girl motivated while I have a city girl slacking mentality these days.

  9. Karen Witek says:

I have read one issue and follow you on Facebook. Such down home and comforting reading to me! Thanks!

  10. Christi says:

New to it all. A new friend that moved to my home state of Idaho told me about you. I was shocked that an Idaho gal was doing, being and sharing so much and I wasn’t even aware of it, in my own home state! Now I’m reading up about you and enjoying the sharing.

  11. Sharril Bellah says:

I’m a country girl that needs way more education. What better way than your wonderful publication?!?

  12. Micaela Sullivan-Fowler says:

I have purchased a couple of issues, and it is always a delight. Like a good cup of tea, a slice of bread and butter, a bubble bath, fresh dirt…it’s full of aesthetic good intentions. Thanks for sharing your world.

  13. Deb says:

When I moved to Moscow ID 101/2 years ago, I picked up an issue of Mary Jane Farm magazine and have been reading it every since.

  14. Jada Edwards says:

This magazine speaks to my heart!! I have a dream to live a simpler life, and even own a little hobby farm someday! MJ Magazine helps me keep that dream alive! 🙂

  15. SarahLou says:

I have been stalking ya’ll for years now. I found a back copy in a thrift store and fell in love!
My favorite posts have been about glamping. So much fun, and wonderful to look at.
    Keep up the good work!

  16. guinnevere muir says:

A friend introduced me to your first book. I immediately bought all the back issues i did not have with the exception of the first issue. I love the magazine, the philosophy, the simplicity, & the great pics. My pop-in-law got hooked and he now has his own subscription. Winning the lifetime subscription would be way better than winning fuel for a lifetime. This is mind-fuel and we all need this kind of stuff for the brain. Brain candy!! thanks for a great magazine and wonderful books.

  17. Rishell says:

I am not a subscriber, but I read the editions at my local library, and enjoy each and every one!

  18. Belinda McDaniel says:

Saw in a post on Facebook. Have to get a copy to read some articles mentioned on front page!!

  22. Mary West says:

I’ve had a subscription before and loved it. We recently moved out to the rural South (always been in the South) and we’re loving it. Growing our own food, raising chickens, the slower pace of life. MaryJane’s Farm is made for our lifestyle.

  23. Diana Harszy says:

I love MJF because opening up the magazine is like stepping into my dreams…only with instructions on how to make them come true!

  24. Rita says:

I love Mary Janes Farm! I just discovered your magazine and I absolutely love it!!! I am a farm girl gone chic, gone farm girl. I have lived in rural Ohio all of my life but I always have learned how to be chic at the same time. lol I love what your magazine says about how good Organic food is for us and how harmful GMOs are. Keep up the good work! And, by the way, I would be so happy if you would pick me. 🙂

  25. Lori Myers says:

I fell in love with Mary Jane’s Farm the first issue I received. Every page left me more excited and intrigued. It was the most fun I had ever had reading a magazine! Ever since, I have anxiously awaited the next new edition. The magazine is inspiring and informational. I love it, love it, love it!!

  26. Tam S says:

Your magazine is not only full of great ideas, but rife with “doable” information. It’s a lovely escape from the standard offerings that revolve around uber expensive decorating tips and over-complicated gourmet affairs.

  27. Sarah Newman says:

I used to pick up copies when I could find them at one of our local stores. I love all the ideas about keeping up with decorating and all the beautiful things you can create. Not to mention the yummy things to make. We have done so many ideas out of the magazine. I really miss that family time.

  28. tam dudley says:

I love your magazine….it”s always so much fun to take some time with a cup of tea and cozy up somewhere for some me time…..

  29. A secret sister of mine from a church program to connect women gave me one of your magazines years ago. I still have it because I loved it so much and have been following you ever since. For the someday that I have chickens (and the room to let them roam), I saved that magazine for the great article on raising chickens. There is so much to learn and share and grow from the articles you write up. Thank you! One of these days I will visit Mary Janes Farm.

  30. Cheryl Fiske says:

I love your magazine! My sister-in-law introduced it to me several years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since! My most favorite is the one on growing garlic, this year I hope mine looks as good as yours. I have also become an apron making machine, all the girlfriends and family members are enjoying aprons that I sew. This magazine seems like it has everything I want a magazine to have, I can relate to it as I have always lived on a farm.

  31. Barbara S says:

Have been meaning to subscribe for months now. I am always inspired by “MaryJane’s Farm” and love all the other MJF books as well.

  32. Kiki Vedders says:

Mary Jane, you INSPIRE me. I look forward to each and every issue that comes out and can’t wait to try new recipes or projects that fill your magazines. Thank you for doing what you do and for bringing “Farm Girls” from all over together in one place. Just this morning when one of our Silkie hens hatched 4 little chicks I felt like rushing to tell you and to say I am that much closer to achieving my goal of sustainability. LOVE LOVE LOVE….

  33. Renee says:

I was a subscriber for years and years, but let me subscription run out 🙁 Love your books as well….with eight kids and one income, i loved all the money saving yet healthy lifestyle suggestions and ideas! Thanks for all your effort…

  34. kathleen thomson says:

I am a farm girl at heart and have loved MJF since it came out and had a hard time finding it. I have made a few aprons for my daughter and sisters. So I have the Apron book plus the Glamping book. I have a 32ft Airstream Land Yacht that Im going to restore. Been trying to garden (in my apron) in the high desert for 22 years now with success some years and not so good on most years. I’m so inspired by you and your crew. Thank You for being there.

  35. Paula Bindrich says:

Back to the earth with fun and flair!

  36. I see my world on your pages and know I have a community.

  37. Sarah Bozone says:

I absolutely am in LOVE with your magazine, website and all the different blogs! I am finding my inner farm girl & having a blast! Rarely do I read a magazine cover to cover but with Mary Janes Farm, there’s something on every page to enjoy. Thanks for the awesome publications!

  38. Barbara Johnson says:

For all the years that I’ve been reading magazines (you know…those popular “Better Home” and “Journal of Ladies” and even Ms. Stewart’s magazine)….which, are, in themselves, fine publications…..I’ve never, ever received the rewards of education, laughter, tears, and just plain satisfaction for my soul, that I get when I read my latest issue of Mary Jane’s Farm. I can’t remember exactly how I found her magazine over 5 years ago, but I can say this: This is the absolutely ONLY magazine that I receive in the mail now. I’ve slowly, but surely, cancelled out all the other publications that seem to have the same old, same old as they did 30 years ago when I was a young bride and trying to learn everything I could from them. Mary Jane’s Farm is fresh and exciting and inspirational and…well, even the advertisements are read by me!!! When I get my new issue in, I sit with my cup of tea (or iced tea in the warm weather) out on my porch swing along with a pad and paper, because, inevitably, I will be writing things down like websites to visit and other helpful tid-bits. I also just love the artwork in each issue and have cut out some and used the “vintage” look to make a few decoupage pieces!! Overall, I don’t think there is another magazine out there that could even COME CLOSE to the treasures each issue is filled with. Win or not….Mary Jane’s Farm will most certainly be a magazine that I intend on receiving for the rest of my life!!!!! My dream: To one day meet Mary Jane and visit her B&B. Peace!!!

  39. Melanie Clark says:

I’m a small town girl with a country heart. I’m fixin’ to see if the town allows me to have chickens in the back yard. Fingers crossed. And, I needs me a subscription to yer mag. Yes, I do.

  40. Jen Engel Brase says:

I received a trial issue a long time ago and loved it! I would love a subscription!! It had so much information in it that was interesting and helpful for my country life 🙂

  41. Tabitha Higgins says:

I remember I was in the grocery store and I took a shortcut down the magazine isle. I scanned the titles as I passed, and then I saw Mary Jane in an apron. I have always loved aprons, but had never seen a magazine with an aproned woman on the front. I immediately snatched it up. It was a magazine about aprons, about reusing, about making do, about the beauty of simplicity. It was about me! It was about my mother, my grandmothers, my aunts, my sister! It embodied our creative country girl spirits. It was everything we held dear, but most importantly we were not alone! There were others out there just like is. I was enamored and astounded and I had an immediate connection to Mary Jane, Meg, and the whole staff. I never miss an issue, and I collect back issues whenever I can. Mary Jane’s farm has enriched my life immensely, and whether I win a subscription, or pay issue to issue the rest of my life, it’s definitely here to stay.

  42. Patricia A Alvarez says:

I saw the magazine at a friends catering and events place. Loved it! But can’t find it in the food stores for sale 🙁

  43. Jennifer Memolo says:

I was thumbing through it at our local grocery store, Ingles in Asheville, NC! And I fell in Luv with it!

  44. Jen Kuckuk says:

I saw your magazine at Home Depot, loved it and had to buy it! Then I found your book on glamping at the library! I love it all!!!

  45. Colleen Till says:

I love MaryJanesFarm magazine! It gives me such inspiration on things to do now and someday when I have some acreage. 🙂

  46. kim sailor says:

I love the photographs in your magazine.

  47. I am a reader and also a sister in the Farmgirl sisterhood. I think my subscription is about or just expired so yeah I would love to win a years worth! Love everything about the magazine!

  48. Alexandra R. says:

My whole family loves your magazine. There is always something that interests my girls, the recipes, the crafts and the wonderful photos. We incorporate many of the ideas we find in there.

  49. Linda Wilson says:

Never heard of you before, but sounds perfect.

  50. Christine says:

Already a reader of your magazine. Love it, has so much great information and stories to read. Keep up the great work and I hope to make it out to stay in one of your tents. Wanting my husband to build one in our backyard! Don’t know if it will get done or not. Well a girl can dream! I buy a subscription for a friend of mine every year for her birthday and she buys one for her mom! We all love the magazine! God Bless!
