I am a subscriber and absolutely love this magazine!!!! When it arrives in the mailbox, I know I’ll get nothing done til I’ve read it from cover to cover!!!!! Not only the articles, tips, recipes but I enjoy reading the advertisements as well. I know if they are in this magazine, I can trust them. I’m a country girl and always will be!!

  2. Sylvia says:

I had never heard of your magazine until a friend on Facebook was commenting about it. After looking over your site I am really interested in getting a free subscription to try it out.

  3. Wendie says:

MaryJanesFarm is my FAVORITE magazine but in this economy, subscriptions were one of the first things to go so I’ve had to rely on the generosity of intermittent gift subscriptions to get me by! I would love to win a subscription! Getting a MaryJanesFarm magazine in my mailbox is like getting a REAL, hand-written letter from a friend. Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. Joanne says:

The first and only issue I’ve seen was something I saw on a rack in a store far away, and I was instantly hooked. I’ve been meaning to get a subscription but money is tight. For now I reread articles about outfit wedding crafts, backyard chickens, map window shades, etc etc and just marvel at the plethora of ways I can make our loves more organic! It’s pretty thrilling, honestly. I can’t wait to get my hands on another issue.

  5. Vida Howard says:

Oh I am and have been a subscriber since you started the magazine. I remember calling for my first subscription and just some random member of your family I think took my order. We talked about how great you were and he was so sweet.
I TRY to keep all my MJ magazines but somehow they wind up with my daughters or going home with the girls that help me around the house. But it is my Favorite Mag to give to my sweet girlfriends for a gift. Everyone loves it.
Mary Jane Butters…you just have the most sincere writing voice. As I read, it is like you are just sitting on the couch telling me a juicy story while we drink iced tea. Thank you for many happy hours and Keep Farming Girl!

  7. Kathryn Barker says:

Already a subscriber…..Love this magazine for many reasons: it’s inspiring – I always find something that I respond to, buy, or contact, I.e. sent VCR tapes to a shelter/hospital, found healthy alternatives to different products that I then purchased and have turned out to be new favorites. The informative nature of the entire publication, literally cover-to-cover! This magazine is fun, creative, informative and uplifting. Martha Stewart with a healthy twist! Thank you Mary Jane and all your staff!!

  8. Deana Miller says:

What’s not to love about your magazine?!?!? The covers are always gorgeous. The content is always interesting and informative. It’s a unique and one of a kind magazine that allows women from any walk of life to feel like they can live the farm girl lifestyle. Keep up the great work Mary Jane!!!

  9. Casey Henrikson says:

I have loved reading your magazine for several years now and it helps keep me grounded in my day to day life! We live in the mountains and have a little homestead with chickens, a green house and now my daughter is looking at angora rabbits, I’m breaking my husband into the goat idea. My daughter also wants to start hunting because of the article I showed her of you hunting with your father. Thank you for slowing us down.

  12. Lorene Boyd says:

I’m a new subscriber. Fell in love with this magazine while hanging out at my local library with the kiddos and I just had to have it. I gifted myself the subscription for Christmas this year. I love all of the great crafts and recipes that are in it and my dream of being a real farm girl someday keeps coming closer each day.

  13. Casey Quast says:

I think the strength of this magazine for me is that it transports me to somewhere ideal and wonderful. I live very vicariously through the pictures, articles and ideas that fill it’s pages. I love the setting (and all things Washington really), and I also that this is not just a magazine, but a sisterhood of radically different, but yet like minded women who also believe in an ideal and know how to pursue that ideal in life changing and practical ways. It serves as escape and inspiration for all of us to live a cleaner, better, simpler life. 🙂

  14. Missy French says:

I have been in love with your magazine for a few years, and had a subscription for at least 3 years. In that time, I have gathered enough information to convince my husband that we can have chickens in our postage stamp yard with the help of your articles on raising chickens. My love of making art out of the recycling pile gets fueled by the ideas your readers share. Each month I consume the magazine from cover to cover, and go to bed that night wondering what I can use from the recycling pile to make something inspired by the months pages. We live on the edge of an east coast city, and dream of a small farm an hour or so away all the time. You keep me dreaming of that next step, and still practicing on my postage stamp yard! Thank you!!

  15. Renee Smith says:

I used to receive the magazine, it was a birthday present but my house burned and I never renewed my subscription but I loved being carried away to all the tranquil places and life that is so serene, truly one of my favorite magazines EVER

  16. Susan Outlaw says:

I love everything about MaryJane Farms. My daughters love reading it when I am done. Of course they have to give it back so I can look at it over and over 🙂

  17. Susanne says:

I received a copy of the Art of the Egg issue, a subscription and 2 of your yummy food bars years ago as a Christmas gift and I’m still enjoying those magazines. =) I am always amazed at the creativity, beauty and yummy recipes that I find in the pages. I am not currently a subscriber but I miss it! Thank you for the giveaway!

  28. L.J. Voss says:

I came across your magazine online. I’m new to wanting to go organic and I’m sickened at what I’m learning is done to our food without our knowing. I would like to raise what I eat and know it is healthy and not contributing to my numerous health issues. About a year ago I elected to retire early because the stress at work was taking a toll on my health. I am interested in learning more about repurposing and being healthy and your magazine is an excellent resource!!!! I have purchased an issue at the grocery store and have just started reading it. Thank you!!!!
