  1. Susie Simpson says:

Have been a subscriber for 3 years. I enjoy your magazine very much. It is not like most ladies magazines. I am a Pa. farmgirl from birth. Will always be one! I read your magazine from cover to cover, and I don’t do that with others. The articles about genetically altered food are important to me. Also the food/health related articles, as well as the organic ones. Keep up the good work! Thank you.

  2. Isabel Pacheco says:

I read your magazine and I have been meaning to suscribe.. I found it by chance, one cover caught my attention and I immediatly fell in love with the vintage look it had. Then what can I say? I fell in love with the practical advice, the natural and tasty meals, the fun columns, and even got me inspired to start a garden this year… I am hoping to soon get a new house with more land where I can practice all the things I read about in your magazine… Get the chickens, goats and more and let my inner far girl run wild!!!

I occasionally pick up a Mary Jane’s Farm mag at the Moscow Food Co-op. I usually pass it along to my mom, sister, and teen-age daughters. I love the whole thing, cover to cover, but the best attribute of the publication is preserving tradition. I grew up rurally and now live in town, so I love all the inspirational ideas about how to hold onto to my roots. Reading your articles grounds me, so to speak, and yes Pun intended!

  44. Megan says:

From the moment I cracked the (recycled!) pages of my first ‘MaryJane’s Farm’, I knew I had found a publication that would feed my mind AND my soul. The pictures. The articles. The recipes. Everything that I had been looking for in a guide to returning to simplicity was right there, in my eager, excited little hands. I poured over each page (even the ads!), drinking in both the details and the bigger pictures, like a cool, refreshing lemonade on a warm summer day. I was instantly at ease. All felt right with the world, knowing I now had a map to make my fantasies become my reality. Every trip I make to a bookstore starts with a stop at the magazine stand to pull out the latest MaryJane, order a large herbal tea, and peruse it for hours while sitting in the warm sun shining through the windows. If I could ever write a book on life-changing publications, this would be at the top of the list. Many thanks to MaryJane and all the writers, editors, and contributors to this fine magazine. Please don’t ever stop!

    ~Megan

  45. Ellen Kraus says:

LOVE this magazine – makes me homesick — I was raised by grandma, in Germany, and she was part of a huge community garden establishment since World War2 — I would sooo love a subscription since I can’t afford one (I borrow the magazine and seem to “forget” to return it – but I have good friends and they don’t mind…) – saving for a couple of acres to have some chickens and peace and quiet….

  46. Carrie says:

My mother-in-law always picks up your magazine for me at a wonderful quilt store in Kiowa, KS.

  47. Sharon Chandler says:

Would love to read your magazine. It looks very interesting.

  48. Debra Swan says:

Oh! I would love to win this…money has been tight and so…enjoy the MaryJane’s Farm Magazine’s. So much info in doing allot of things by scrap. Just love it…

  49. Leland Stone says:

I’m not a chick, but I find your magazine delightful, and a free subscription would only elevate my admiration. Pick me! Pick me!!! 😀

  50. Jennifer Peterson says:

I love Maryjane’s Farm magazine! I found one at a local bookstore quite a few years ago and was quite intrigued by it, so of course it came home with me. I finally got a subscription but like many others economic hard times did not allow me to continue. I love the inspiration I get from your stories and also have a growing backyard garden. I live in a semi-rural area and have always dreamed of being a farmgirl. I think it’s in my DNA since my Dad was a farm boy and I have memories of spending time on the farm with my grandparents when I was a little girl. Since I am turning 60 this year I don’t think my farmgirl dreams will come true but would love to continue dreaming with a subscription to your magazine again!
