  1. Amber Warfield says:

I’m in my first year subscription and I absolutely love your magazine. Its the kind of magazine you find and wonder why you didn’t know about it all your life. Its such a beautifully done magazine full of wonderful ideas. Every issue is a joy to receive in my mailbox!

  2. Lori Ann says:

LOVE your magazine, Facebook page and website. Grew up on a farm and my brother now has gone organic with an on-farm market.

  3. Christine Murphy says:

Love the magazine and organization but can’t afford to be a member anymore! Hoping you will pull my name!

  4. Cris says:

I grew up a ranch kid but unfortunately ended up moving to a small town and then a bigger city and now live on 3 acres (rocky acres) in South Dakota. I read your magazine from cover to cover and selfishly will not give a magazine away but have shared them with friends and family and always give them a subscription card to mail in! I feel there is no better life than to be educated on how to include some aspect of farming, ranching, gardening, crafts, camping, etc. You have made all of this accessible to folks who didn’t know where start and you have created such an amazing magazine. I don’t have a current subscription but I pick up every issue from the newsstand. After a hectic winter with lots of studying and little time to read anything else except for your magazine I will be able to renew my subscription. I hope you give the free subscriptions to someone who might not otherwise be able to afford it so they can feel the “riches” of being a farmgirl. God Bless what you do!

  5. Khris Kirk says:

My mother-in-law bought me a subscription last Christmas and I absoultely love it! Love reading when I can, while watching the free range chickens, or canning my fresh pork. Love all the wonderful recipes too!

  6. Donna says:

I get that warm fuzzy all over feeling when I read my monthly magazine and it helps to bring me back to a more relaxing, self fulfilling time in my life. I was a stay at home/schooling mom with 4 young daughters. I gardened, canned, and crafted. Now I work full time as a RN at a small hospital which I also love. but I miss those slower simpler times. Mary Janes Farm brings me back. Even my husband makes sure my subscription is always renewed. Thanks.

  7. Frances Fowler says:

    Inspirational!

  8. Denise Robinson says:

I am an online reader and really enjoy your articles. We live on a five acre ranch and love camping and packing into the Wilderness. Love the old west!

  9. Travelinma says:

The anticipation builds as the time draws near when my Mary Jane magazine appears in my mailbox. I devour it over and over again!

  10. Grace Masciarelli says:

    My favorite magazine!

  11. Mindy says:

I love your magazine. I picked one up while visiting with my grandmother and great Aunt. They grew up farm girls. My grandma still gardens and cans but anything animal related is repugnant to her. Apparently, riding the old burro on the farm during her childhood scarred her for life. Her sister on the hand never stopped homesteading. We were at her house when I saw the magazine on her coffee table. When I went home she sent the magazine with me, and I’ve been hooked ever since. We just got our herd of meat rabbits, and our green things are sprouting in our mini greenhouse we created in south facing, little used bedroom. I really enjoy your magazines, and my husband knows never to throw one out, or heads will roll.

  12. Elle N. says:

I recently purchased a couple of your books – I’m a glamping fan and want to make it out to your location for a visit! I have not seen the magazine local in the San Diego area – maybe I just not have been to the best place to find it. I would love to win a subscription so that I may be able to check it out first hand! Creativity is everything…

    Best,
    —-elle

  13. Teresa says:

Love your magazine, its like and instruction manual for just about everything, kind of like a check list too. Got my pallet barn, kidding barn and many other things done with pallets, recipes tried but the belly fulls, and so very many ideas I’ve started my own notebook of things I want to do and add to my farm. Even though I grew up on a farm, raised horses and goats, gardened and farmed most of my life, your magazine shares such wonderful things that I love to try and do. Thanks Maryjane!

  14. Lisa Steele says:

I am not a current subscriber but your magazine looks like what I have been waiting for. I am a fairly recent Air Force retiree of 23 years and have finally began to settle into a regular routine on our up and coming homestead. I still have a lot to learn so I need all the help I can get. I look forward to learning from you!
    Thank you and God Bless,
    Lisa

  15. Heidi Peyton says:

Love your magazine and the great articles. Would love to win a subscription!

    thank-you,
    Heidi

  16. Theresa C says:

Love your magazine. Keep them coming

  17. Tamara says:

Looks like a lot of competition. I have just been outside getting mad at a PG&E guy. I was sitting on our deck reading your magazine and having coffee when this guy comes down and says he is here to mark trees for cutting. They keep coming through and cutting down trees up on our road. Three times this year. Each group says they are hired by different county people. I asked them why they just don’t top the trees that are a threat to PG&E….No way they said, they have to cut all the little pecker-wood trees that are skinny. What? I asked them to just top them because they are not a threat to the power lines and cutting them out is opening up our property so we have no privacy. Sometimes I think men and chainsaws are a bad combination,(especially groups of men with chainsaws) men want to cut down what ever they see, they get excited about having a power tool in their hands. We have all seen many instances of clear cutting in the forest and for shopping malls when it was all about money. Our summer heat gets over 100 degrees and when they’ve clear cut for a shopping mall it leaves no shade for people to park under, just wide open asphalt parking lots only 1/4 full of cars. To me every little pecker-wood on my property is valued and loved. The little trees are supplying homes for birds and bugs and pathways to squirrels. I think my whining is not going to help, the men will not just top the trees and they stop listening to me and go on their merry way cutting down the trees. Sorry about this rant…..I would like to win your magazine.

  18. Cindy Bohli-Nelson says:

I love reading Mary Jane’s Farm! I get so much inspiration, from gardening ideas to ways to live a greener life. I also love the graphic design & the feel of the paper it’s printed on! <3

  19. Kathy says:

I am heading to find your magazine now. I am starting my own naturally made skin care, natural household cleaners, etc. website. I would love to glean inspiration from your magazine.

  20. Deb Nachtigal says:

I’ve seen it in the newstands and browsed through it and a friend told me about it also. I’m a country girl and grew up on a farm and still believe in that lifestyle and want to show the younger generation how things are done on the farm, etc.

  21. Emma says:

Love, love, LOVE your magazine. I’m a new reader and don’t subscribe yet, but I will. I love the what it represents: clean living, earth friendly, fun and fresh! Keep up the great work!

  23. Kami Pastis says:

I’m not a subscriber, but every time I go to the bookstore MaryJane’s Farm is always my 1st magazine to look through. It has all the topics I’m interested in like gardening for food and beauty, repurposing, healthy eating, healthy environment & DIY projects. I guess this country raised city girl longs to return to her simple country roots and MJF helps that seem possible. xoxox

  24. Deb Keller says:

I love your magazine! I was a subscriber, but couldn’t afford to renew when it ran out…. I still pick it up at the store when I can. I also have a small farm that I bought as a single mom and Mary Jane has always been such an inspiration to me….she really kept me going during the tough times.

  25. Nicole Garland says:

MaryJanesFarm magazine is just the best out there. It combines so much awesome material – decorating, crafting, farming, and so much more. I love reading submissions from folks who tell how they get things done or from their past. I grew up on a farm tagging along after my grandparents. It’s wonderful to read through a feel like I’m there again. I’ve been picking up my issues from the Tractor Supply Company for a few years now. I always look forward to new issues! It would be awesome to have a subscription!

  26. Donnjoy Regolino says:

  27. Karin Davidson says:

LOVE LOVE LOVE this magazine!! My Mom bought me my first one and I finally just started a subscription because we cannot always find it here in our small town. I agree that this is one magazine I keep. I also want to keep the actual hard copy, not a file on my Nook. A perfect afternoon break is a tall glass of sweet iced tea on my porch with ANY copy of this magazine!!

  28. Lisa McDonald says:

I enjoy when I open just one copy of Mary Jane’s Farm. It transports me into my dreams of everything I want for my farm. we have been here a short time and someday I do hope to have a full farm. and with this magazine my dream book is growing. thank you

I just discovered MaryJane’s Farm magazine on a trip to Golden, CO at a cute little store. Now I’m obsessed! I’m shopping for back issues and reading all things Mary Jane. I’d LOVE a subscription as I haven’t yet splurged. The publications are inspiring me to straighten out my busy ways, and prioritize so I’ll have time for these things that truly bring joy to each day. Thank you!

  36. Shae says:

i love, love, love everything about your magazine!

  37. Julie Abbott says:

  40. Kathy Shaughnessy says:

I’m a farmgirl at heart! 🙂 Mary Janes Farm is my FAVORITE magazine! I refer to my back issues often and look forward to new issues. Thank-you, Mary Jane and crew for this beautiful and informative publication. When I found the first issue years ago, I felt like it was intended for me, and I’ve been hooked ever since!

    • Kathy Shaughnessy says:

Just wanted to let you know…received my newest issue in the mail yesterday…my hubby said, “Look at the cover…it’s the one we picked!” The cover has a photo of an old truck rusting in a field (above). I can get my hubby involved in anything, including MaryJanes Farm magazine, if it includes old cars & trucks! 🙂

  41. Linda Harting says:

    Heard about on facebook

  42. Lucy says:

There are a lot of things I can’t do or grow on my “lava rock acre,” but I still love reading MaryJanesFarm. There are many terrific ideas I can use. I raise chickens, create raised beds, watch nature at work – these are my contributions toward making my “farmette” a success.

  43. Jenna Conover says:

Oh be still my heart I woul love to have a sub. I poor over everything you guys put out but have not gotten a subscription. You know there is alway something that come up. I would be over the moon! Xoxoxo

  45. sharron Brinsfield McDonald says:

I’ve been a subscriber to Mary Jane in the past and must get that going again. I love every issue. It fits the “feminine farm girl” inside of me.

  46. Beverly Ellis says:

I received a flyer in the mail advertising Mary Jane’s Farm. Looked through it and decided this is for me. It had everything that I enjoy doing plus it gave me lots of good ideas. Have been a subscriber for over 4 yrs now and absolutely love this magazine. I have also given it as a birthday gift to my daughter and daughter in law and they both love the magazine too. Thank you Mary Jane for publishing this wonderful, interesting, helpful, delightful magazine.

  47. I love all the feminine farming ideas, and the cooking, and the crafting, and the…I love everything about MJF.

  48. Brandi D. says:

MaryJane’s Farm is the perfect marriage of practicality and aesthetic beauty to me, and that is why I love it! I knew that I wanted to be a farmer when I was a little girl, but I heard a lot of “you’re too lazy” or “you’re too prissy”. I left my dreams behind for awhile. Then I got involved in the urban farming movement, and I knew I’d found my niche. When I saw my first issue of MJF on a stand at the store, I was smitten and knew that I’d found a mentor of sorts through the magazine. I can’t thank all of those who make MJF possible enough!

  49. Cher says:

I love your magazine. I’m in SEIdaho and love that another Idaho gal is making good and letting people know how great farmgirl life is.
