Give a big farmgirl welcome to Lacey Berg of Aspen Herbals, a new Project F.A.R.M. (First-class American Rural Made) business member. Handcrafted in Baker, Montana, Aspen Herbals sprang forth from Lacey’s love of nature and desire for natural body care. We thrive on community, and that’s exactly what we’re building here at Aspen Herbals.”

Currently it’s basil, because I love pesto & have been trying recipes.
It would be difficult to choose, but if I HAD to choose my favorite herb, it would have to be MINT. Why int? Because when it is growing in your garden and you go out to weed, the wonderful smell of mint wraps you in a sweet greeting. When I make my green tea and want to cut it’s bite, I run down to the garden and grab off a couple of leaves. They smooth out the flavor. When I want to add some zing to anything, I throw in a pinch of mint. It i sweet, versatile and easy to grow. I LOVE MINT!
My favorite herb is rosemary. I love Rosemary. Think of the name
Rose
Mary. Yes I love mint for this too.
I had not thought about Rosemary, but yes… it has the most distinctive fragrance and flavor.
Peppermint is my most favorite! If there isn’t ever a more powerful herb to stand testament to the healing powers of herbs I don’t know what is. I suffer from indigestion to which I take something for daily. But sometimes my medication does not work and I will have a miserable night of acid reflux. Because I am on something for it I can not just take another medication ontop of it. Peppermint allows me to go out, pick a leaf or two, chew it and swallow it, and almost instantly calms my tummy. So I keep peppermint handy at all times.
It is hard to pick just one favorite herb. For me Basil is a huge favorite of mine for cooking. But, I love Lavender for scenting laundry soap, sachets, and other personal uses.
Right now I have lavender in a mister in my kitchen. I keep walking over to take hits. Love lavender.
peppermint! I love it in everything from tea to my peppermint scented lotion.
My favorite is rosemary. So many uses and every time I smell it I just want to go cook something!
I agree, rosemary is my fav too! I just love the smell!
LOVE….LOVE….LOVE the BASIL!
I am just learning to work with herbs. I have started with aloe, I am not sure if that is a herb but it is a good starting point. it has so many uses. I have learned how to extract it. I have grown basil, mint, dill, chives, parsley. I do dehydrate it and cook with them.
Rosemary…I just love to grow it in my home and run my hands through it for it’s fragrance!
Oh my – how to pick just one – probably lavender!! Used in the bath just makes me smile and then add lavender lotion…..lucious…..
This is an extremely hard decision to make because I love all herbs and their individual fragrances. Lavender is a favorite of mine marching right along beside peppermint. I love cooking with many other delightful herbs but these tow run a close race. Their healing and refreshing aromas are inspiring. your product is both interesting and charming.
I love Parsley! it goes with everything, smells great & can even be added to your bouquet. I grow it every year.
Love lavender. I do try to grow it, although where I grow it is a little clayish and prone to wetness during the spring.
Red Raspberry 🙂 because it has so many uses. My favorite story is from a woman i trained with in herbs. Her husband had burned his eyes by a flash on a welder. She made tea bags of red raspberry. His eyes were healed within a few days.
I love herbs and really like the ones that come back year after year, lavender, thyme, mint and oregano. This winter the fresh dried oregano crushed with my fingers have spoken to me each day and I have used it in everything! Blessings!
My favorite herb is rosemary. I have always loved it, but as I study to become an herbalist, I also learned that is was the favorite of a very dear and wise herbalist named Juliette de Bairacli Levy, who always planted rosemary and southernwood at her door, at many homes during her lifetime. The rosemary, because she said her children were always healed from their ills, when they bathed with it…and as I still seek to find southernwood (plant or seed!!), as it can heal/help/soothe both woman and animal when in hard childbirth! Oh I love the simple and profound beauty of rosemary’s healing and therapeutic ways!
My favorite herb is basil because of all the many types of foods and cooking it can be used with. I also love how easy it is to grow and use both fresh and dried.
Mint, especially with chocolate. There’s just nothing that mint doesn’t add a sweet tang to.
My favorite herbs come right from my garden; lavender, mint, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Marilyn
Rosemary. The scent is refreshing and invigorating. Subtly used it enhances any food its used in.
Basil….it livens up tomatoes like nothing else.
My favorite herb is mint all the way, because it’s so easy to grow!
This season my favorite herb is thyme. I love the smell and flavor. And I feed it to my chickens for the healthy benefits of good immunity and respiratory systems! Thank you!
Sweet orange love the scent. On winter it is great.
I love Rosemary. Love the smell of it, the taste of it, and takes me back to my youth. My mom and sister are both Rosemary, so it’s always been a favorite in our families! I have a big plant in my yard and love just running my hand across it… smells so good!
My favorite is rosemary!!! I also love basil,
mint and lavender.
I love mint. Endless varieties. Super easy to grow (almost TOO easy). I use it in tea, I use it for garnish, I dry it for gifting…and it looks so pretty in the garden! Chocolate mint, lemon mint, peppermint, spearmint. Even slip a leaf into your tennies during the warm weather for a little freshness. I also use peppermint essential oil — after cleaning the bathrooms at home, I use a few drops inside the toil tissue roll — every spin gives a little fresh zip to the air!
Did I say I like mint?
My favorite herb is Rosemary. I love the fragrance and the taste. What’s more, it is a potent antioxidant and thus very good for our healtj.
Rosemary. It reminds me of the family farm, mom’s hands and love. ♡
I love Lavender But Peppermint is my favorite! It is so great for my stomach problems and I love it in tea for an energy pick me up!
My favorite herb is Peppermint. So yummy in tea and cooking
It’s so hard to choose. I love Basil for eating. Peppermint is one of my favorite to diffuse and use in hair and lip treatments. Rosemary makes a great oil for arthritis pain. They all have something to offer!!
Just one? Yikes! I think my favorite currently is chamomile. Its calming properties both to my mind and stomach make this herb a big player in my life right now!
Well, that’s a tough question, I love so many herbs for a variety of reasons and favorites often depend upon my mood and the season. Pressed to pick just one though, I’d have to say peppermint, for it’s help in healing headache pain, relieving rhinitis symptoms, stomach discomfort and more… 🙂 Thanks for the wonderful giveaway opportunity!
Calendula, because the first t8me I witnessed it’s healing powers I was an instant convert, to all things herbal. Although I had used herbal preps before I hadn’t yet sought them out. This was a copule of decades ago and I am still amazed by nature’s healing powers!
My favorite herb is lavender. Great for a great night’s rest.
If I must choose just one, I’d pick chamomile. It is culinary, medicinal, and decorative. An exemplary herb!
I have many favorites. However, I have to say that peppermint is my #1!! I use it most often for myself and my daughter when it comes to tummy issues. We also put it in our natural, handmade lip balm and foot soaks. It makes refreshing drinks, as well!!!
I love both Lavender and Rosemary. Lavender is just about my favorite scent. Rosemary goes so well with so many dishes. I will go with two 1/2 favorites so I select them both.
I love fresh basil! Cilantro is amazing as well!
This is like picking a favorite child or pet! But basil is would have to be it.
Fresh basil 🌿 it adds so much to whatever you use it in!
Ahhh….So MANY wonderful herbs to choose from it is very difficult to say only ONE as my favorite!! I guess I’d have to go with experiences then and say Rosemary! Not only is the fragrance beautiful or that it’s flavors are awesome in cooking and baking BUT I use it for a mind clarifier! I have some in a roller ball for my daughter to take to school and place on her wrist periodically. It clarifies and increases her memory especially great for upcoming tests and such! I use it for creativity! I love how it refreshes and stimulates! ( and smells!!)
Wow! Gorgeous products and lovely options! Lavender is my all-time favorite…
My favorite herb Sage. It’s delicious and very medicinal. Smells amazing too. I use it in a special soup I have developed after many years of studying herbs and essential oils. My family and friends swear by it. We call it Medicine Soup. It always contains a bundle of sage amongst other powerful herbs. This soup when taken within the first day of a cold or flu every few hours will either eliminate your cold or flu or shorten its lifespan by many days. I developed it years ago and it works every time. Sage being one of the most important ingredients. It is antiviral, antifungal, antimicrobial and many other things. My first go-to.
Lavender is definitely my most used and easily grown herb.
Peppermint. I love making tea from it, using peppermint for colds, examining it while it grows and it’s always a delight to find some wild peppermint growing when I’m hiking.
I love lavender, I use it in my got buth to relieve stress after work 🙂
Rosemary. It smells amazing and I can use it in my bread. I want to plant an entire hedge of it around my deck!
Lavender is my fave. I use it in my
Hot bath to relieve stress after a long day of work at the hospital.😊
In food I love basil. For the scent I love lavender. It smells wonderful and is soothing. 🙂
My favorite is Rosemary. I love to bake a steel-head or salmon with a foot long sprig from my giant old faithful Rosemary bush. It is over 25 years old and has endured trauma from my daughters horses and drought. We don’t have much water so it’s on its own. Cuttings placed in a wall-pocket in my kitchen waft a lovely uplifting fragrance. Herbs are indeed a blessing to used!:)
