Lavender is my favorite herb. While living in England for 5 years while my husband was in the Air Force, we got to travel and tour, 4 Lavender Farms. There are more than 100 herb farms in England, mostly growing Lavender. The amazing thing when visiting them, the moment you got out of the car, you smelled Lavender. It was so beautiful with rows of purple fields everywhere you looked. I’ll never forget those wonderful trips and the smell of Lavender fields. When guests come to our home for overnight visits , they receive a basket with Lavender lotion, soap, and powder to take with them when they leave. I have the same items for them to use while visiting. To me, it’s such a relaxing herb to use for so many things. Bathtime, scented linens to sleep on and drawer sachets for lingerie are good thingso to add Lavender to. I love it.
