I was at my local Tractor Supply Store buying bird seed and dog food and while at the checkout I saw your magazine. Just reading the cover had me interested and I bought one. I wasted no time in subscribing and can’t wait to see the newest copy. Love the magazine and so does my son. Lots of great articles.
I saw Issue 2 of your magazine-catalogue at a book store and bought it. Ordered some of your wonderful food!
Found MJF in feed store while buying horse and poultry feed. Purchased single issues a few times. Now cannot live without it! Just now trying the websites – need more time! Happy Holidays!
My mother-in-law gave me her first magazine when she was done with it. I have enjoyed Mary Janes Farm ever since. I have my own subscription now and gave my sister one for Christmas this year. We are all farm girls at heart. All born and live or lived in Montana.
My mother had a subscription and I saw the first copy at her house. I fell in love with it, got my own subscription and gave a gift subscription to a friend.
Long time Farmgirl and I would love to try your organic on the go meals. They would be great for daily lunches.
My sister gave me a gift subscription about three years ago, and I have loved this magazine ever since! Cannot wait to find a piece of land where I can start implementing both my and your fabulous ideas!
I found your IdeaBook first at the book store and bought it immediately. Then got on your website and ordered some of the first magazines with food orders in them. Naturally, I subscribed and love love love it! When the next issue is in my mailbox, I swoon and can’t wait to dive into it.
I first saw your magazine at books a million when I was looking for something different from the norm. Have been a member and subscriber every since. Was raise in the country but married a city boy and was missing it so much. Your mag helps me on so many levels. After 9 years I still read and refer to some of the early issues. Hooked for life!
I found Mary Jane on the magazine rack at out local Lowe’s store
Visiting my sister, looking for something to read, came across your magazine. It was so inviting. I read the same issue over and over while I was there. Got home, went on line, signed up for subscription, and have been a reader ever since. I really am a farm girl at heart(raised on a farm with my own cow, Baby, and her twin calves). Please keep up the good magazine.
A country store in Redmond, OR
My girl friend in Montana, Rhonda “who has never led me wrong before” called and said she had met an amazing person, Mary Jane Butler, at a Farm Chicks Fair and that I should get a subscription to her organic farm magazine. Needless to say I was hooked after reading it and now have a small farm of my own. Thanks Mary Jane for all you do for “farm girls” everywhere. I always look forward to seeing your magazine in my mailbox.
My sister in law, introduced me to your magazine, when I was looking for an idea of how to use my dad’s antique ice wagon. Have had a subscription ever since , we just moved out to the country and I look forward to using many of your ideas.
Saw it in the magazine rack in a local drugstore…hooked ever since!
I subscribed to Hobby Farms magazines, and a flier from Mary Jane’s Farm showed up sometime later. I didn’t subscribe then, but I did see it in a bookstore, so I bought one. Eventually, I got tired of trying to find it in stores and subscribed! I do love everything in the magazine, even though I might not be able to use everything.
I used to read Martha Stewart Living for the same reason. . .but it’s not “Martha” anymore. But MJF is “Mary Jane,” and I greatly appreciate getting this magazine. I have indeed used some things, but I’m not yet a full-on “farm girl.” But I’m working on it, even if it confuses my boyfriend to no end!

Been a subscriber for many years. Can’t remember how I came across your magazine. Think it was at Barne and Noble
I found your magazine several years ago at the grocery store. I fell in love with it at the first reading. Been a subscriber every since. Taking advantage of your recent offer to 2 subscriptions, so I don’t have to share my issues with anyone. I hate to part with them. This way I can share articles and ideas with another subscriber.
I found MaryJanesFarm while browsing the magazine rack at a Books-A-Million. I had read almost half the magazine when I realized I should buy it if I liked it so much.
I saw my first Mary Jane’s Farm magazine at Borders and fell in love. Sadly, Borders has gone the way of many large book stores in our area, but Mary Jane keeps hanging in there.

Well, I found the magazine at a small little country store. Hooked from the very beginning! Shared with my mom and friends and they loved it! Of course I had to go to the website and WOW! Someday I hope to own my own Tabitha. I do give a gift subscription every year, but no longer to my mom as she is now legally blind.
I recieved an offer in the mail. Looked like I would enjoy it and the rest, as they say, is history. Love it so much that I have given 3 people subscriptions to it for the last two years. They all love it too!!

My wonderful mother said the magazine reminded her of me and what I wanted to follow with my own farm, so she gifted me a subscription of Mary Jane’s. It has been a lovely read ever since.
Many years ago I was in the checkout line and scanning the literature when I became intrigued by a canning article. Being new to country living and having planted a large garden I knew I had to learn a lot about it and I did. I bought the magazine, learned about canning and other things and subscribed to it too. Absolutely love it and have learned so much over the years.
A friend gave me one of your magazines and I loved it. Have since shared with friends of mine.

A number of years ago I found your magazine in a local book store. I purchased and brought the magazine home. I have been a subscriber ever since.
I was in a bookstore and picked up a copy. I have saved every copy since I subscribed. My friend is getting a subscription from me and I just know she will be a perfect Mary Janes farm girl.
Way back when there were still independent stores that sold periodicals and coffee, I found the bread magazine (or apron magazine, I no longer remember which). I fell in love. I went to the web site to discover that you could not yet get a subscription, you received a magazine with each purchase you made from the farm. I made a purchase (I don’t remember what now) and begged to be let know when the next issue would come out (it wasn’t yet regularly published). I have gotten every issue since then and never looked back. My magazines are in special magazine boxes on the same shelf with my fabric and other craft supplies, each one with pages marked of projects to makes and tasty goods to bake.
