Chocolate graham cracker cake –yum
There are far too many to choose from! My husband & I are partial to pie, in fact, we even had it at our wedding instead of cake! (We had cupcakes for the children but no cake for us!) Lemon meringue is a favourite. I also like raisin pie. Pretty much anything I can make is good! No complaints from anyone when we get dessert! If I don’t have pie ready, then I like to make half hour pudding because it’s fast, easy & yummy! Now if only I can make it gluten free (& then nut free for school!)
My daughter makes an Pecan Pie Bar that we heat up for 15 seconds in the microwave and then add a scoop of vanilla ice cream!! It is a treat when she sends us a goodie box with these in it!
I love Bread Pudding with coconut
Coconut Cream Pie
Cherry pie
Sugar cookies !
My favorite dessert is dump cake. Plain dump cake not the variations of the original recipe.
It’s not just dumping ingredients in a pan, either. My grandma made the best dump cake. I’m almost close. ❤️
Cherry pie is hands-down winner with me. Our mom made the best with a ‘short’, tender crust and tart cherries with a touch of almond extract. Doesn’t get any better in my book. My brother submits his vote, too!
Chocolate….love it…brownies, chocolate chip cookies, candy bar! YUM! Just a little taste of dark chocolate goes a long way!
Peach Cobbler.
My favorite dessert is a no bake cherry cheese pie that my mom would make. She could bake anything and it was wonderful, but that cherry cheese pie was a special treat.
Every Holiday Season I make a Pistachio Cake.
It seems to go by many names.. Pistachio Cake, Refrigerator Cake & Even Watergate Cake..
Now the Pistachio is obvious.. I get that one, Even the Refrigerator Cake.. Cool Whip, Condensed Milk.. This is easy for me too.. But WATERGATE CAKE?? I have NO idea where this comes from.. And since I was given the recipe by a lovely 80 year old neighbor about 30 years ago.. I reckon the mystery will live on!
It’s a delicious cake .. so tasty and moist.. and fun to have at Christmas Time. and sometimes even for Thanksgiving if the kids REALLY press me for one!

Lovely giveaway as we look forward to the ushering in of February and Valentines! My favorite dessert can also double as a celebrated special breakfast. Strawberry double crust pie.
Old fashioned rolled out heart shaped sugar cookies with different embellishments!
my grandmother’s lemon meringue pie was the most delicious pie. I can still see its white meringue coming out from under the broiler with the little browning specks.
Love banana split.. love sharing it with the love of my life. My sweet, dear, loveable husband. We have so much fun diving into a banana split, you would think we were kids again.
CHOCOLATE OF ANY KIND!
It’s hard to choose, I would say homemade Banana Cream Pie….!
Apple dumpling with cinnamon ice cream, YUM!
Any kind of cookie (except those with rum flavorings!) I love frosted cookies and snickerdoodles!
My favorite dessert is oatmeal cake with coconut-pecan icing, although it tastes great without any icing at all. For those who don’t like oatmeal, this is a great way to get them to eat it. I adjusted my recipe to make it a little spicier with cinnamon and nutmeg. Yummy. Heart shaped cookie cutters are great. And I use my small cast iron frying pans to make my cornbread in for beans and cornbread. Love it. I will also try making biscuits in my cast iron fry-pan as I read on here someone does this. Sounds delicious.
Hard to pick one dessert but chocolate chip cookies, if I have to, or anything with dark chocolate.
