Veterans, who acquire motivation, leadership, and management skills while on duty, have stepped up to the plate. Did you know that 45 percent of our military come from rural communities, as opposed to one-sixth of the general population?
That’s right, our next generation of organic farmers could be veterans. This article highlights “Archi’s Acres,” a California based veteran-owned and veteran-serving training ground for those who want to become trained in organic agriculture.
