Quick, get that boot OUT of the stirrup (the reason cowboy boots are pointed). One sure-fire way to get hurt is to have your foot still in the stirrup when a spooked horse takes off running.
And … she’s free! *Big sigh of relief from the crowd.
Ouch! Such is the life of a r-o-d-e-o-e-r. (Rider and horse good to go again.)
