Blueberry grandeur! Our season is well over, but we enjoyed a U-pick farm in June that also made incredible blueberry wines. They made their wine in three levels of sweetness and each had a distinct blueberry flavor and use. One was heavy and sweet like a Port wine, one was semi-sweet and a nice drinking wine, and one was drier and good for making reduced sauces, vinaigrettes, or drinking if you like that level of dryness. Who would have ever guessed blueberries could be made into truly good wines? We purchased the semi-sweet one and it was delicious with some good cheese.
