Here’s how:
MaryJane will post a photo and a description of a prop and its cost along with a few details as to its condition here: https://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/MaryJanesCurations. It’s a playful way to be the new owner of a little bit of farm herstory.
Is that a real owl or one of the figurines used to scare them away from areas like a chicken habitat?
Hi Winnie. It’s a figurine who who-se head swivels. We have several of them for our cherries, blueberries, and strawberries. They do help although we end up sharing some with the rascally birds. I forgot to load what I’d written! Busy day yesterday. Will do it now. Great to see your smiling face first thing this morning!
He looks Real! We have lots of Barn Owls. When we first moved to the country and I would be walking thru the woods , they cast a shadow over your head when they fly over. It scared me at first, now I am use to them. On our trips to town, you can see them perching on the towers that carry the electric wires. They are very majestic on their stature!
