Beets! 🙂 There are many so good things about beets ~ super easy to grow, offering a quick sense of accomplishment when those greens pop up in the garden and turning into a lush row of color that impresses every neighbor. They make great pickles, warm your kitchen and your tummy when roasted; great for soup, salad or a deep green vegetable side dish and come in a multitude of shapes and colors. Use the greens, use the bulbs ~ the original two-for-one deal! We love beets.
Fresh beets, I think. We love beets and their greens and eat both the red and golden varieties al the time.
