My whisk and spatula. I love the delight of mixing the ingredients by hand .
My mandolin is one of my favorites. Canning is now a snap.
My apple, corer, peeler, slicer!!!
I like my apple peeler/corer and of course anything cast iron!
my husband and i both love Lehmans! always can find some good old fashioned tools and equipment for our oil lamps. I know I could use another apple peeler!
help me out with that gift card!
I love Lehman’s. I remember my grandmother buying from Lehman’s. What I’d give to go back to a simpler time and sitting on her porch swing! Talking abut what she got from Lehman’s. Planting, harvesting, and canning. Simply the best!
I have a food chopper that I love whacking to chop onions, celery, carrots, etc. I also have a tool that you put in a clove of garlic and it minces it when you close the handle. Not sure what it’s called, but by using it I don’t make everything (including my hands) smell like garlic 🙂
I cook on a wood burning cookstove. Lehman’s has accessories I cannot find elsewhere. I would love to get a propane refrigerator, but alas, that is not in the stars. Since we choose a simpler life in our household, the products in their catalogue are perfect for us.
My favorite non-electric tool: our hand-crank corona grain mill. It has gotten so much use from grinding wheat berries for wood-fired artisan bread, to emergency coffee when we forget to grind in the store, to wild-harvested chaga to sell at the farmer’s market. GREAT tool!
oh yeah, I almost forgot, my Veggetti!! I highly recommend it to anyone who grows zucchini! 🙂
My most favorite non electric tool is my big wooden spoon for mixing my cakes and cookies with. I love good quality wooden spoons.
My favorite non electric item would be my metal whisk. I use it for meringues, scrambled eggs, soups, gravy, etc.
My favorite non-electric tool is a garden rake. I use it to make my garden smooth for planting and sometimes to mark off rows for small root crops such as carrots.
I was fortunate to shop at Lehman’s this summer! A favorite non-electric tool is a hand cheese grater that has a container to catch the cheese. I don’t buy pre-grated cheese, but buy cheese in blocks.
My hands are my favorite non electric tool. They can be used for so much. If that doesn’t count than I’d say my hand held can opener. I haven’t used an electric one in years.
My hand held can opener!
I love my pole saw and old fashioned tree saw. The old saw came from my husband’s German grandfather. He was a wonderfully skilled gardener with perfectly pruned trees. His garden was magazine quality! I use both saws regularly around our little farm.
It has to be Mr. Squeezo, our victorian strainer. The kids love to join in when we use it for applesauce, whether it is to can or dry for apple fruit leather.
My trusty potato peeler has traveled with me for 58 years. I can’t imagine being without it after trying many other brands and styles. It has never been sharpened and never fails me.How many potatoes do you think it has peeled?
My favorite non electric tool is my spiralizer! I love making sweet potato or butternut squash noodles. They are so yummy!
I have a pampered chef can opener that works great and leaves no sharp edges. I love it.
