Here’s how:
MaryJane will post a photo and a description of a prop and its cost along with a few details as to its condition here: https://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/MaryJanesCurations. It’s a playful way to be the new owner of a little bit of farm herstory.
Do Sugar Maples grow out in Idaho? They are some of the most beautiful colors in Fall. Here in Florida, we can only grow Southern Red Maples, which are a cousin of the Sugar but more heat tolerant. When they turn in the Fall, they are a deep red/orange. This considerably smaller leaf species favors growing where it is wet and can be found along rivers, and in swampy areas (we have plenty of that sort of space!) . We planted one in our front yard and it is now finally taking off. Although still fully green, I have hopes for a brilliant display in late December or January when we usually get our best opportunity for color.
They do or I should, they can. I planted a few several years ago but they’ve hardly grown. Have patience, they say to me.
