My 10 year old Grandchild, Violet, enjoys going through my colorful stash of materials awaiting the touch of her gifted hands to start creating for the rest of her life. I am just in awe that she wants to follow me creating beautiful gifts to share with those we love.
My favorite time with my grandchildren is making crafts with them, it could be painting or turning paper plates into cute masks like bunny faces and teddy bear faces. I remember teaching my daughters to crouchet they loved making scarves for themselves and family.
I crochet mittens had some made when your magazine arrived with the boot cuffs will make some to match them for the church xmas fair
perfect timing
I was going to show my niece knitting, but it didn’t take off like I was in hopes it would. Will obviously try again as she gets older.
We love making crafts from things from nature.
My kids and I enjoy cutting paper snowflakes.
Our home is made of crafts, galore. This wall hanging, or that counter top embellishment are one old and one new. My favorite ever kid’s project that I will cherish until my days end, is the very first handmade art project my daughter brought home from school as a toddler. It’s beautifully misshapen and whimsy in nature. Made of straw and playdoh – but might as well be made of gold in my glittering eyes. When in my view, I see what dreams are made of, and love. That’s all.
