Lemon meringue pie , my mom always made it for my birthday
Whatever fruit happens to be in season baked like a cobbler with scones on top! YUMMMMMM!!!!
I love making deserts and now that I have 2 kids, 2 and 7 years old, this is one of their favorite activities with mom!
Favorite desert is a dark chocolate hot fudge recipe I found in an Amish “sugar free” cookbook. It’s made with honey, not white sugar. The rest of the recipe is milk, butter, vanilla and either corn startch or arrow root powder. Simple ingredients to get organically and/or from our farm. It’s amazing and I use it for more than topping ice cream.
Crème Brulee
My grandkids and I, love our Super Deluxe Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting made into muffins. Just right every time!
I still dream about my grandmother’s custard. Simple, delicious and always a feeling of home.

Carrot cake
We use cast iron for almost everything! Love it & any type of brownies!!
My favorite dessert would have to be what my aunt called “Buster Bar”. Oreo cookie crust, a layer of ice cream, a layer of peanuts, covered with a delicious chocolate peanut butter sauce. Frozen, then sliced like a cake. So yummy!
My most lived dessert would have to be warm peach cobbler hands down .
This is a very hard decision, but given the time of year it is, I would choose cooked white rice with raisins, milk, cinnamon and sugar. I know it sounds boring, but it surely hits the spot when you are both hungry AND have a sweet tooth. Plus it’s great for breakfast or an evening snack. Love it.
My favorite dessert is Boston Cream Pie–ever since I found an awesome recipe for one!
And, cast iron pans are a staple at my house. =)

I love frozen yogurt whipped up so it is light and airy. Then, topped with berries.
