Plans for the summer and sun… smile sweetly at the sun and enjoy every moment. While I watch my sweet alpacas romp in the field.
WEll, here in Montana you make “hay” while the sun shines. So lots of watering, weeding and keeping plants alive. The prettiest time of the year.
summer is always fun to be outdoors, but must remember that the sun can do damage.
This offer is wonderful for all the cares of our outdoor activities with grandkids and friends. What a wonderful gift to whoever wins this offer. Blessings to all the readers for a very safe, enjoyable and happy summer. Winnie
This year is our 25th wedding anniversary and we are going back to our honeymoon location – Ka’anapoli Beach, Maui – staying close to where we were originally and doing some of the same activities and eating at the Chart House. It is going to be so much fun! Those are our big summer plans.
Cools would be cool to have!
I would like to share this with my daughter who will be honeymooning in Hawaii in September.
Lots of time pool side watching kiddos playing
I would love to be able to win this so that I can have my daughter try it – she’s very fair and has very sensitive skin so she has a hard time finding products that do not irritate her skin. This might be a perfect solution for her. If not, I am outside a lot and use sunscreen daily, although I do have concerns regarding the ingredients of over the counter sunscreens.
Lots of work that needs to be done in the garden! I burn so easy so this would be great to try!!
We do a lot of camping and kayaking in the summer. Hiking in the mountains is another favorite.
I have chickens ,rabbits ,3 big dogs and cats so I never go to far. Day trips to beaches and kayaking on the river ,gardening and making people beautiful as I’m a stylist.
We’re heading out to the mountains.
Working in the garden early when its cool.
Our summer in the sun plans involve spending next weekend in the Wisconsin Dells celebrating family birthdays at a waterpark & exploring the rock formation known as Witches Gulch. Later this July we will be camping on a remote beach at Rock Island State Park in Door County, Wisconsin, followed by cherry picking on the way home. We will also be taking a few weekends stand up paddle-boarding and canoeing at our cabin in northern Wisconsin, near the bald eagles, beavers, otters, ruby-throated hummingbirds, dragonflies, fireflies, and bullfrogs. Even though we are in the Midwest, summers still get hot and sunny and we would appreciate having some safe sunscreen to protect our skin.
Planning on going to Kauaii the garden island and swimming with the giant sea turtles
nothing specific this year. new move and first summer with hubby retired so lots of changes, just playing things by ear 🙂
I just spent ten days with my husband visiting the Maritime Provences in Canada celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. While there we went to PEI and met a very special farm gal sister. We had a great time. It was too short. Can’t wait to see her again.
Summer plans here in south central PA are to tend to my garden and enjoy the harvest. With 2 large gardens on my property and lots of fruit trees, I spend lots of time out in the sun. I’m always on the look-out for organic (with good ingredients) skin care and sun block. I’ll have to check into Coola some more. Thanks for the opportunity to win this set!
Lots of activities and outings that involve being in and out of the sun! Use organic products on my skin and my family’s as much as possible! Have new twin Granddaughters and want them to learn the importance of healthy lifestyles!!! Thanks in advance for reading!!!
Perfect for glamping!
Love to try these…products.
I will be mowing 6 acres a week living the good life on the farm. Mowing is good for the soul! 😎
My summer plans include checking off a buck list item… I’m going to Alaska. 😉 My first vacation in decades. Other than that my summer will include pulling weeds in my garden and hopefully lots of picking of vegetables, riding my bicycle and odds n’ ends. I would love to try out Coola during my adventures near and far. 😉
I do Family Childcare so I will be working and also dog sitting for a friend. I will also be reading a lot.
We are planning to go to Paducah, K, in August to see the total eclipse of the sun. I don’t think this event will require sunscreen, Ha Ha, but I would love to win your prize.
oh my, love this….I need a vacation so bad, have not been on one in 20 yrs.
This summer we spend time on the boat traveling to Kelly’s Island and nearby islands here on the Sandusky Bay in Ohio, what beauty to behold. We love the sun and sand between our feet, and we work outside in the yard gardening. After a long day we sit out on our porch and watch the sun set over the water. Life is Good!
Having had skin cancer nine times, I know the importance of sunscreen. I hope this one is pleasant to wear, some are like a paste mask.
Going to spend every moment I can between our 4 gardens and my kitchen, got a lot of canning to do lol,, 40 lbs of tomatoes already put up!
I would use this when tending my flower gardens.
We just moved into a farmhouse with 11 acres. I am in the process of setting up my new front yard/flower garden. I plan on being outside a lot this summer planting, and settinhg up the area.
Summer starts in the garden…always adding and rearranging not only plants but decor. Best part is after dinner sitting on patio w/drink looking out at all your hard work and seeing it was well worth time/effort🌻🌸🌾🌹🌼🌺
Rest with some time off from working full time during the school year, go to the lake as a family, and watch my kids serum in gramma’s pool.
gardening and enjoying my deck. and grandkids, of course.
Well I am a farm girl myself. I spend a lot of time in the sun putting up hay for my cattle which sometimes requires being in the sun for several hours some times. So I would love to try a new sunscreen product.
Pool side!
Summer plans are renovating some of the chicken coops…picking figs from my 20 foot fig tree (thank you to all my chickens and roosters for fertilizing the tree) and making delicious fig preserves. Hoping to till some of the ground and work on some fencing maintenance…Could definitely use a quality sunscreen product in this hot Florida sun…I am outdoors so much…love my chickens…and of course my adopted horse Choice…My neighbor’s 35 year old former barrel racer who walks the 3 acre pasture to my chicken fencing so we can share hugs. He has walking over every morning without fail to see me for 10 years!!

I am looking forward to a weekend with just my hubby which includes a concert by a renown choir and some paddle boating and just a lot of walking and talking and chilling for a change!
My “summer-in-the-sun” plans largely involve avoiding the sun! I get up before I really want to, to go to the pool and get my yards in before the sun is boldly shining upon my speckled back! Next comes walking the dog, me in shades and a hat and sunscreen.
Looking at me, you would never guess that my browned, freckled skin has come in spite of my efforts to shade it!
We try to stay out of the sun in the summer here on the Texas Gulf Coast. We have a family reunion in Arkansas to attend and not much else planned.
My husband is launching three textbooks he authored for teaching guitar to students. We are making hay in the hot hours of the afternoons here in NoCal with the publishing business, and enjoying gardening and boating with friends and family while it’s cool enough to be out. We live near the Oroville Dam/Lake and are grateful for the repairs taking place to avert future flooding issues. I use sunscreen and skincare products daily. I enjoyed the Coola info in the Aug/Sept issue which arrived today.
My fun in the sun is basically avoiding as much hot sun as possible. I prefer to be in the shade. I sunburn very easily so I use sunscreen and wear a hat when I am outdoors. If I were a flower I would probably be a hosta instead of a rose!
I am planning lots of gardening. And I have an acre yard that I mow and weedeat, lots of time in the sun.
I could not be more excited for this summers plans.. I will meet my grand daughter Celine fir the first time!
Summer for me means hours and hours in our garden. I love spending time in God’s wonderful creation, and getting a greater mesh of freckles and tan is an added bonus.
Working on my landscaping is my plan for this summer!
I will be picking raspberries that came up on their own, hanging my clothes out on the line and taking care of my small garden. I am 76 and have serious spine conditions and fibromylgia but I will not let it stop me from using my muscles because what you don’t use you lose. I think I have some American Indian blood in me because I get so brown and I know nothing of my grandfather’s background except he was born in the UP of Michigan and I have to constantly work on my skin.
I love camping so we are going to Northern CA
Soaking up the sun, fishing & relaxing 😎
Have three more weeks of the summer session at Chaffey Community College. My husband and I will celebrate my 63rd birthday on the 2nd of August. Afterwards we will be traveling up Hwy 395 (Eastern Sierras) to Bridgeport for a much needed rest. Before returning to the Fall Semester at Chaffey.
