I have learned that you don’t have to live on a farm to have the heart of a farmgirl! I’m in high school but consider myself an old soul and absolutely loveee your magazine! One of the many things I’ve learned is that You don’t have to have lived and worked on a farm to be a farm-girl (at least at heart).
How to enjoy all that the seasons bring. Whether it’s frost, snow, flowers, wind leaves. Your articles on these are fascinating and beautiful. I now love to take my children around and study, look upon and be in awe at all the earths creates for us to see.

I have learned a million things from Mary Jane but one thing I have learned is how long picked apples are stored before they are sent to the store.

One of the things I have learned from reading ” maryjanes farm” is how to keep chickens and have fun doing it! I have gotten six chicks and enjoy them every day and haven’t looked back! Someday a cow will maybe grace my backyard who knows? A girl can dream.
