My favorite Valentine’s Day flower is the carnation. They last so much longer than a rose and they are beautiful! And they don’t break the pocketbook for my husband!

For Valentine’s….roses and alstromeria, maybe a nit of babies breath, too.
My favorite flower is, of course the rose.
I just love all types of roses, but tea roses are my favorite
type. My husband and I live in a patio
home, so I do not have much planting room, but I “squeeze-in”
a couple of them here and there.
If I were to receive one of these beautiful
Iris rhizomes I do have the perfect place for it,
right by the gate to the alleyway.
Irises are my favorite flower, for sure. But lilacs are a close second.

I have two favorite flowers. My most favorite is carnations then peonies.

Honestly I love every flower I see, it’s too hard to choose just one. Lately I seem to gravitate towards Lily of the Valley though.
Any flower. As I am single. A sweet smelling rose would do nicely
Calendulas . Similar to a rose, but more interesting, I think.
I’m a true fan of Lisianthus, any color. While living in Texas I was able to grown three colors and was one happy girl. Now in Missouri, and order them often.
I love tulips around Valentine’s day. An arrangement of forced bulbs always makes me smile.
Dalhias in all colors.
Iris’s make a person smile. They are beautiful
I must say my love of iris’s has grown so much over the last couple of years I have a rainbow of color growing down my 125’ fence row with room for more.
But being honest my favorite Valentine flower would have to be roses. So unfortunate they don’t last longer!
I have always loved a bouquet of Daises with a mix of soft pink Roses. The Rose always makes me think of Grandma… and the Daises reminds me of a country home that I’d love to live in some day!
My favorite flower for valentine’s Day is carnations a mixture of different colors
Here in the North, many of my favorite flowers are not available during February, so my favorite Valentine flower that is readily available are spider mums. They look amazing among roses.

David Austin English roses in pinks along with baby’s breath.
It would be irises if we could get them this time of year in Alaska. I LOVE irises!! I have many wild Alaskan irises in my yard, so beautiful!!

Paperwhites
Peach color roses. Favorite of my friend who passed away four years ago.
I love pink roses.
I love carnations they smell so good.
Lavender roses
A simple bouquet of baby’s breath is always a lovely way to say I love you.
Any purple flower melts my heart
I think that peonies are my favorite flower, but I also love the fragrance and color of French lilacs-the deepest purple.
I absolutely adore orchids!
Pink carnations and Pink Roses
I always have loved iris, it reminds me of both of my grandma’s and their lives that were filled with hard work, family, and faith!
Alstroemeria or Peruvian Lilies are very beautiful and usually the longest lasting of consumer bouquets.
I refuse to pay or let my husband pay the inflated prices at Valentines Day. I love Daffadils, Pansies, Nastursians, Zinnias, Peonies, Crocus Cleomes…. I guess that I love flowers!
Roses. Any color love them!! I told my kids not to buy flowers and put them on my casket when I die!! I want them now when I’m alive!! They can put a quilt on my casket and I’ll be happy!!

Valentine Day Flower. Living in Iowa, February is dreary. No other word for it. Color is needed. Reds bring back the memories of love. Purple, yellow, orange…. make you smile. & green! Who would leave that longing for spring color out. Favorite flower …. ANY
I have many favorite flowers but two that’s dear to me are the iris’s and lilies my mom gave to me a few years before she passed on. They are growing throughout my gardens and bring me joy.. for scented flowers it’s Lily of the valley for me. Thank you for this chance to win a Sweet Lena iris.

Purple is my favorite color and this iris is beautiful. I love any color of carnations. I have blue and white bearded irises and yellow bearded irises in my flower bed. They are beautiful flowers.
My early daffodils arrive in February so I’m always on the look out for them by Valentine’s Day. Just lovely!
