In the last picture, what kind of dipping sauce is it? It all sure looks yummy! (Bet the rolls would be easy to take to work or plop into school lunches, too!)

    • MaryJane says:

It was a sweet & sour dipping sauce made from pineapple juice, Thai chili paste, white vinegar, and thickened with organic cornstarch. Enjoy! They were DELISH!

We love to watch that science stuff on TV!! I agree that Morgan Freeman has the perfect narrative voice. What amazes me is how all this activity is happening every day in the universe while I usually don’t think past the sky that I can see. Astronomy has been a love of ,one since I was 7 years old and we studied the planets and the names if clouds. I have been hooked ever since!

    • MaryJane says:

I’m new to astronomy thanks to Morgan (we’re definitely on a first-name basis:) What I think I love most about it is how it diminishes me. Goodness, I’m not more important than the moon/sun/cosmos. Great content for helping one not sweat the small stuff.

I’ve had the pleasure of living in CA for many years and have been to all those places you visited. So glad you enjoyed them and those jelly fish at the Monterey Aquarium absolutely amazed me when I visited there. So glad you enjoyed your tour of our coast. Next time you visit travel inland and go to Gold Country…beautiful drive, tons of history and some very good wineries!

OH, I love this Iris! I used to have one very much like it but lost it one winter. It did not come back. Do you have tubers of this one available? Also still have Sweet lena? I finally have a house and a place for iris where I can combat the slugs and pill bugs that like to eat these tubers.

    • MaryJane says:

We still have Sweet Lena, Eileen, but unless I marked this one while it was in bloom, I won’t know which one it is. But there’s always next year!
