Cindi Johnson says: On first glance, this looks like a nice picture of some raindrops on a branch, but when I look closer I can see many things. In those perfectly clear drops there is the reflection of surroundings that makes me want to get closer to see if I can figure out what is out there. Such symmetry in those drops. So much beauty around us. Nature’s jewelry. You can’t get gems more perfect than that. It’s beautiful!

Cindi Johnson says: Hmmm, such broad, flat needles on that tree. I don’t think it’s from around here ~ or that I have ever seen one like that. Still, it makes me want to run right out and pick up some pine cones and put them in a very slow oven to release their seeds and wonderful scent.

Winnie Nielsen says: I just ordered my first pack of Herrick Kimball’s Classic American Clothespins that I assemble myself. You had a post about this last year and at the time, he was all sold out. So, I got on the mailing list and today they are available. Handcrafted by Mr. Kimball, they are made of ash wood with strong springs plus this easy tutorial of how to put them together. It is going to be fun to do, I hope and they will last a very long time.

In the summer we saved and average of $200.00 a month on our Electric Bill! I grew up hanging out clothes and love it!! I love the days when the sky is so blue and a listening to my birdies sing .
Rex and now fight over who’s going to hang out the clothes! LOL!
My sister, who lives in British Columbia, Canada, posted a pic on Facebook of some chickens that were wearing brightly colored knitted “sweater capes” and were pecking around in the snow. (Chickens not hers) Interesting . . . 😀
