Congratulations, Kat Tylee!!!

Kat Tylee said:

Please add my name to the hat. I don’t live fully in the Rockies anymore, but I live at the historical beginning of the Rockies on the Oregon Trail. I grew up under the Tetons and lived for four years in the shadows of the Missions. All part of the Rockies. Gardening there can be a challenge to say the least. High elevations and unexpected freezes become a way of life in the Rockies. I would love to add this one to my garden book collection.

Giveaway: WINNER Mountain Rose Herbs Pampered Glamper Kit

I took a little time for afternoon tea yesterday. And of course, I reached first for my Mountain Rose Herbs loose leaf tea. Complete with one of their nifty press n’ brew teabags, the flavor was perfect, the tea was toasty, and altogether just perfect.

While I was sipping, I also let steep the entry names for the Pampered Glamper kit … and … after ruminating on the fabulous flavor of my white silver tea, I pulled a name out of the teapot …

Our dear friends at Mountain Rose Herbs caught wind about my new book, Glamping with MaryJane, and my appearance on the Hallmark channel’s new show, Home & Family, this week—so we paired up for a fabulous giveaway! Below is everything you need to be a pampered glamper.

What you get:

4oz Oregon Chai Tea
4oz Firefly Chai Tea

Porcelain Tea Pot, 4oz Happy Tummy Tea, 4oz Evening Repose Tea

  1. Laurie Dimino says:

What an awesome prize! How would I use these goodies? Well, quite easily! Since most of my glamping is done in my very own backyard, in my glamped up tent, with my very own outdoor clawfoot “spa”, and lots of cooking over the firepit- this kit would just complete my whole glampin experience! Can you say “Heaven on Earth?”
Thank you MaryJane and Montain Rose Herbs for the chance to win!
    Hugs,
    Laurie

  2. Terry Steinmetz says:

Wow! As for me, I would love to sit by the fire, making and drinking a pot of tea, cooking something nice & relaxing by the fire. Glamping is on my own property & I would invite friends to share the peace & quiet with me. We could look at the stars and make wishes and enjoy each others’ company. And laugh!! Oh how we could laugh! Thanks for a chance to win the lovely basket, filled with more dreams! Big hugs.

  3. Alice - Farmgirl 12 says:

Oh I wouldn’t know where to start with all that wonderful stuff! But first I’d make some quinoa and sprinkle some of that Pumpkin Pie Spice on top along with a pat of butter. The teas, I would savor on my back deck by myself or with my guy or my best friend enjoying the crisp fall air! Or I might pour some in a thermos and take a walk while the beautiful fall leaves whirl gently down around me, just taking in the beauty that autumn has to offer. What lovely giveaway kit!

  4. Heather says:

Hmmm….how would I use the wonderful glamping basket? I would surprise my hubby and princess daughter and take them out for the weekend. I would pamper both of them and let them relax from the stresses of work and school. The tea I would make for all of us. I would rub the salve into my poor husbands work-cracked hands and use the face wash and hydrosol on myself and teach my almost teen-age daughter how to take care of her skin now before it’s too late. I would use the spices to create a delicious dinner or two for us. I would use my pretty indian cotton throw as a tablecloth and dine by candlelight/firelight.

  5. Billie Jo Moffett says:

What an exquisite prize! And what a wonderful glamping experience can be created with all these products. I would fix a brunch fit for a glamping queen over the fire using the spices/herbs and coffee. Tea would be served at tea time in the afternoon a dessert. I can just imagine sitting in the open air, under the trees, feeling the cool breeze on the skin after using the salves, oils and wash. Life is too short not to “Glamp”!

  6. Winnie Nielsen says:

I am not a glampers as I don’t have a trailer or any camping equipment, but that would not stop me from enjoying such a fabulous assortment of teas, spices and personal care products. Wow! What a cool and beautiful assortment of of products to be enjoyed in the fall and any time of the year!! I love the the two Chai flavors! They sound just perfect for a cool evening.

  7. Christine M Hosie says:

All these fine things would take some chill off and add the warmth needed for the cooling season. I’d love a tea /coffee party and some romance and pampering that the rose scent would bring to my senses. St. Johnswort to level me out and strengthen me. Good things to spice up the food and the life. A total treat to the senses that I hope will come my way!

  8. Cathy R says:

What a fabulous giveaway! Thanks so very much ~ if I’m the lucky person I would do a little ‘fall glamping’ on my deck or down by the pond with you in mind since I don’t have a glamping trailer yet. I so enjoy seeing and hearing all about the glamping adventures on various blogs! What fun! Blessings to you! Cathy in Orofino

  9. AlyssaMarie says:

What a fun prize! Since my glamping experience is right at the beginning (my motorhome arrived a couple weeks ago and will be staying in our driveway while we fix her up). I’d get out my pretty tea cups and invite all my gal friends over for a tea party and I’d ask them for all their fun ideas of how to fix her up!

  10. Sheryle says:

Would be wonderful to take along! I would use the spices to liven up the food and tea and coffee would be wonderful. Love the teapot! And of course the skin care products would come in handy!

  11. Amy McIntire says:

What a very neat basket. Mountain Rose Herbs carries some fine stuff 🙂

I don’t currently Glamp anywhere right now other than in my home, but have every plan to do so at least outside the house with a neat shelter tent of some sort. I would love to sip some tea by the campfire or right before bed while doing a mini spa treat to relax with the Rose hydrosol and other sweet smelling treats. I would also make a yummy potato n’ veggie ‘hobo pack’ dish with all of the wonderful herbs and spices.

  12. This is just a little piece of herbal heaven. Wowza!

  13. Sara P. says:

How wouldn’t I use it !?! We love going car camping here in Northern California, so this would be perfect!

  14. Stacy Corder says:

I would be glamping in my backyard over my firepit with my family and maybe a neighbor or two if they see us having fun over the fence. I would definitely be sipping chai and eating warm cookies. I might be making those inside since I don’t know how easily I could make them over my campfire.

  15. Allyn Cook-Swarts says:

My Glamper Kit would compose me to sit quietly and savor each moment given. Living on the river and having good quality time with friends and family cooking outdoors with all the spices given. At night when romance is on my mind, I would use your sprays to start things up, ( if you know what I mean). Using the massage oil as well. During the mornings when there is a chill in the air, I would reach for my Herbal coffee to warm and awaken me. Feeling lucky that I won this kit and taking time to feel blessed as the sun comes up. Reaching for my Rose facial wash and looking in the mirror knowing I am using all natural products and not chemicals will show that I care about myself. During the mid-day, I would heat up a pot of water and make a cup of tea to reassure myself and others that life is good. I even might share the wonderfully made skin care salves with others.

  16. Elizabeth Flesher says:

The uses of these products while glamping would be many, but most importantly they would make it easy to be natural AND comfortable while in your second “home”!

  17. Paula Boyea says:

We live in Barrow, AK…”at the top of the world”! We hope to go glamping soon and this would certainly add to the enjoyment of being away from the “frozen north”!
    What a beautiful basket!

  18. denise says:

as a current nyc gal, glamping is the only way to get my friends into nature with me! Promises of freshly baked pumpkin pie, made with the lovely spice blend, and hot cups of tea by a fire would definitely entice them. So would pampering them in rose products! Salves to keep their skin smooth and safe will put their hearts at ease for any nics or windburn they may get out on the trail. catskill mountains here we come!

  19. jess s. says:

what a perfect set for cool fall nights! i love it! it would be lovely to use the spices for campfire cooking and to sip tea and coffee by the fire on a nice fall evening.

    thanks for the great giveaway!
    jess

  20. Rhonda Craven says:

Since it is becoming cold weather here in Maine…I would build a nice fire in my wood cook stove and go glamping right there in my rocking chair. Would love to brew up some of those lovely teas and serve them in that cute little teapot. Now that is a slice of heaven. Glamping is where you make it.

  21. Rodena says:

What a fantastic package to win!! I would give the spices to my husband who does all of our outdoor cooking so that he could whip up some new yummy dishes to eat by our backyard fire. I would use the massage oil to reward him for all of his hard work & we would enjoy a wonderful cup of tea while relaxing in the hot tub under the stars!

  22. Molly says:

This looks like a great beginning to a wonderful autumn glamping trip. I like to go hunting with my husband in our camper and glamp it up in the woods. Who says you can’t have a glamorous hunting trip. Please pick me and i will fill my pinterest with photos of your Mountain Rose Herbs Pampered Glamper Kit!

  23. Audra says:

Oh my this is just a dream come true for anyone. I wouldn’t know what to use first. I think I would hide in my special little spot out glamping and indulge in all these goodies for an hour or two. Then come back to it a few hours later to indulge all over again.

  24. Donna Hoffman says:

Since I am a Massage Therapist, I will bring my massage table with me while glamping! I will serve my glamping client (you) a nice comforting cup of chai tea from the cute tea pot before your relaxing massage. Upon entering the glamper you will be met with the wonderful scent of the Aphrodite Aroma Spray. While you are getting on the massage table I will be collecting the hot stones warming up by the campfire to be used with the Rose Moon Massage Oil! After your massage you will not want to get off the table but the wonderful smell of dinner and coffee cooking over the fire will draw you outside to end your wonderful day!

  25. carol branum says:

I think Donna Hoffman allready won…but,I,d do the same!
    carol

  26. Cheryl Fiske says:

Gosh, that’s a whole truckload of cool stuff! I live at the foothills of Mt. Hood in Oregon, and on our 70 acre farm, I feel like everyday is a mischievous glamping holiday! I sure love the outdoors! We cook outside on our traeger grill almost every night, and I love sitting on our wrap around porch with a good ok’ cup of tea watching the weather change in the valley. I can’t wait to watch the show on Friday, it’ll be cool to see you!
Oh, and I’ve got my garlic planted and just raked some leaves today to lay over top for winter. I really look forward to your information onanistic topics!

  27. Karen Bartlett says:

After a long week, a romantic fall get away with my husband in the glamper. Sit by the fire as the sun sets and the crisp air sneaks upon us, we sip on the invigorating tea while a perfectly seasoned fresh whole chicken slowly roasted over the fire along with fresh veggies we tended to all summer in our garden, roasted to perfection. For dessert of course is the delightful rosé oil massage….

  28. Susanne says:

Well, I don’t have a glamper. But when I do camp, it’s with my honey and all 9 of the youngun’s so there would be plenty of us to enjoy all the goodies. =) What a generous giveaway!

  29. Turtle says:

WOW!! I would spend each weekend at our glamping camp splurging on feeling spoiled! The weather is turning colder with fall and soon we will have snow… this would be the perfect extra little bit to make the weekends even better! 🙂

  30. Dianna Greggory says:

I would make me a cozy spot by the fireplace during this long Michigan winter and would enjoy the gifts while working and planning on the next camping adventures for 2013~

  31. I do believe this would be a great basket of goodies to enjoy while watching Fall change to Winter up here in northern MN. Hmm, tea by the campfire… I like. 🙂

  32. Jessie Ann Lusher says:

After my mom died a couple of months ago I decided to honor the dream we each had of buying a little trailer and fixing it up. My friends huband has slowly been working on it as I’ve had the money. I would use this beautuful gift to treat my generous friend to a tea party in my tiny trailer. It’s still a work in progress so we would sit in the driveway in my traveling heaven oh wheels and sip our tea and pour over a map of all the places I’ll be able to go. My mother’s beauiful spirit will be with us as we while away the afternoon.

  33. Jennifer says:

With all the animals we have, we don’t get away much, so we would find a place to retreat on our land in the country, and have some tea and such.

  34. Jen in TX says:

Oh my goodness, what a giveaway! Well, I would definitely be sitting by the fire drinking that tea.

  35. Christina says:

This is an awesome basket full of goodies. I love to try new teas. If I won a basket like this I would first have to smell all the wonderful scents. Then I would have to curl up with a good book and a nice hot cup of tea. After the relaxing time of of tea and book I would have to try out the other products. I can smell all the wonderful spices.

  36. Amber G. says:

What a wonderful opportunity to use natural products for a yummy meal cooked outdoors, by a crackling fire. Under the star studded sky of an autumnal evening. We love to camp and the opportunity to bump it up to glamping would be awesome! Thank you for such a great give-away. Somebody is going to be one HAPPY GLAMPER, just like I would be~

  43. Becky says:

I would start my morning off with the herbal coffee, while enjoying the sun rising between the mountains. I would finally start my day by using the Rose Face Wash, dress and then use the Aphrodite Aroma Spray to leave my camper smelling lovely. I would start a fresh patch of chili on the campfire and use ALL of the spices. Even give the chili a hint of pumpkin flavor. I’d sit back and read MaryJane’s book while waiting on the chili and then have my lovey treat me to a nice massage with the Rose Moon Massage Oil. Next would be time to brew up some of the Happy Tummy Tea and the Evening Repose Tea in my new Porcelain Tea Pot. Then end the day by having my lovey rub my feet with the St. John’s Wort salve or the Powerful Skin Compound salve. Would be wonderful to win this basket of goodies!

  44. Jo Gill says:

I might invite a few ladies over, from my work. We could have a mini glamp-out in our backyard. We could sample tea and pumpkin spice cookies around our campfire. We could sample the beauty products after a soak in the hot tub. Umm, I’m feeling sleepy already. Thanks, Jo

  45. CJ says:

Oh my glamperific goodness! I’d most certainly invite other ladies we meet in campgrounds over for tea and/or coffee. Of course, there would be fabulous meals made using the seasonings.
When the day of glamping greatness is done with hiking, crafting, chatting . . whatever we do . . would be the time to pamper ourselves with all the pampering goodies!
What a great gift for a fortunate glamper . . . would love it big time if that glamper were me!
    Thanks for the opportunity!
    CJ

  46. Michelle says:

What a great giveaway! I would get the girls together to have an afternoon of glamping in my backyard! Sitting by the fire sipping tea and enjoying goodies! What a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon!

  47. Kat Tylee says:

What a wonderful bunch of goodies! I would so love to sit with tea and girlfriends around a fire. And of course we would have to make some wonderful dinner with the herbs. Maybe some pumpkin pie cookies for dessert. I don’t know if such a thing exists but it should. An outdoor bath would be divine with all these goodies. Hope whoever wins this basket enjoys immensely.

My family goes camping often. We love our trailer. Every year for Thanksgiving our entire family & extended family goes camping for a week ! We all have trailers. Its so much fun. This is our family reunion as well. I would love to share the basket of goodies with all this year around the campfire! Also I am going to pick up a copy of your GLAMPING. BOOK to share this year with all the women. I know they will love it.. we won’t be camping anymore’ we will be glamping!

  49. Amanda says:

I haven’t glamped before, but, with this tools I would give it a try. It sounds relaxing!

  50. Cyndy says:

I’ve been glamping for some time now…much to my husband’s dismay. It can take me awhile to set up the most scrumptious and delightful site. In the end, he is very happy.

This is a wonderful grouping of gifts! I’m thinking Thanksgiving would bring a lot of purpose to this good stuff. First, a nice cup of tea and some nice soaking in the tub with creams and emolients to get me limbered up, then plenty of spices on hand to make every dish delicious and finally, a wonderful cup of fresh ground coffee to enjoy with my pumpkin pie. Sounds like a perfect holiday.

I’m Farmgirl Sister 1210 and proud of it! I’m a California girl with not a lot of opportunities to stretch my farmgirl wings, but I really enjoy the entertaining ways of telling us about your life and how you have remained feminine and creative on the farm. Thanks for sharing your life with everyone!
