I once had a light brown shoe,

It was light as a feather …
You know that pondering tilt of the head a person gives a work of art they’ve just completed? Writing about your life is that exactly. You step back, pick up your paint brush, apply a dab of compassion here, a brush stroke of flair over there. Putting your life on canvas allows you to see what your life looks like through the eyes of others.
Going Granny (actually my grandkids call me Nanny) is my best achievement yet! Here’s a phone message my barely two-year grandgirl left for me on my 58th b-day. I guarantee it; this will make your day.

Ready for a revolution?!?
Grab your pots, pans, and plates, ladies … May 19 is Food Revolution Day!
Organized by the Jamie Oliver Foundation (You remember Jamie, right? That cutie-pie British fella formerly known as “The Naked Chef” …?), Food Revolution Day celebrates the chance to share your food knowledge, know-how, resources, and recipes.
Your mission in this revolution? To get back to basics or, as Jamie puts it, to stand up for real food.
And, most importantly, to help others discover the joys of healthy, fresh food choices.
If I know my farmgirls, you gals are all over this one already.
Inspiring change and living healthy … that’s kind of our thing, right?!
So, ready to revolutionize??
Thank you MaryJane for sharing this information and helping to get the word out. I’m heading over to the website right now! Just love Jamie Oliver too- he is always so fun to watch and listen too!
Hugs,
Laurie

I love Jamie’s work and I am totally in favor of this revolution! I thank the MJF Connection and Merit Badges for jump starting my thinking about healthier eating. The Farm to Table movement is very intriguing too. One of my goals is to go to one of those dinners held on a farm with all locally grown food. That seems like the perfect summer weekend event to attend!!

I’ll have to create one of the boom skirts. My broom will love it.
Beautiful Photo. Spring all a glow with colors.
I love old, rusty things that are vintage. In truth, I like anything vintage 🙂 🙂 Thanks for the pretty picture 🙂 Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather 🙂
