Look what I found while junktiquing last weekend. Enough wooden spools to decorate next year’s Christmas tree. $20 total.
How can I raise the level of gratitude in my life? Let me count the ways.

More good memories. When we were growing up, my husband had a swing just like this on his porch & we would swing on it together & talk for hours…and sometimes we would just sit there & swing together, without saying a word.
One day I hope we have a wrap around Victorian porch & at least one swing exactly like the one in your picture. If that never happens though, I’ll be content with our porch swing days of yesteryear.
Oh, I’m looking out my kitchen window & see almost a twin swing! It is where I sit to have my tea each morning until the snow comes. I listen to my symphony of birds each day too, as I swing with no cares on my mind. I love my swing!
Terry and Elizabeth, is there room for one more on the swing? I have my coffee in hand and would love to visit!
On a scale of 1 to 10, I thought this photo of hubby Lucas working on our taxes rated a 10+. We’re happy to report that a couple of days ago Piper and Patch slept through the night for the first time.
Glad to hear the kids slept through the night at last! Keep up the good parenting. 🙂
What a great picture.
Aww, Lucas, what a guy! Those babies are sure cute & they’re going to be SOOOOOO spoiled!! Great picture and I wish you all the best on your tax preparation!

What a sweet photo of Lucas taking a turn keeping the kids happy! The one good thing is that animals grow up so much faster than humans so my guess is that soon they will truly be Big Girls!
Ohh, how beautiful!
Yup! SCORE!! Lucky you!
Whoa! That is a SERIOUS score– Lucky you! you’re going to have fun with all those spools.
